Platfform Fuel your creativity! Radio Platfform is a youth-led radio station based in the Wales Millenium Centre. The station aims to give a voice to all young people.

This November, we’re teaming up with The Printhaus to offer a free hands-on course where you’ll learn how professional merchandise is designed and made
 
Over four sessions, you’ll experiment with design, printing and heat-transfer techniques while creating your own unique version of the Platfform logo. By the end of the course, you’ll take home an exclusive piece of limited-edition Platfform merch that you’ve designed yourself.
 
Perfect for young people who enjoy art, fashion, design, branding, or simply trying something new.

Whether you’re obsessed with true crime, music, culture, sports, or just love to chat, this free two day intensive training course with Radio Platfform at Wales Millennium Centre will equip you to bring your ideas to life and create content that will connect with people.
 
We’ll show you how to create different kinds of radio shows and podcasts, dig up interesting stories, record like a pro (even from your bedroom), and get confident with presenting and interviewing.
 
This course is delivered in Welsh and English, giving you the freedom to create, present and connect in the language that feels right for you.

Are you 16-25 and ready to level up your photography skills? After a brilliant first year, Explore Photography is back - and this time, it’s all about discovering your style, building confidence, and creating work that tells your story.
Across six free weekly sessions, you’ll learn the foundations of photography, experiment with creative techniques, and develop your own mini project - all in a supportive space led by filmmaker and photographer Pierre Simon. You’ll finish the course with a live exhibition at Wales Millennium Centre, showcasing your work to friends, family, and fellow creatives.
What to Expect
A hands on, creative journey designed to help you explore your environment, sharpen your eye, and build a body of work you’re proud of.
You’ll:
• Learn photography fundamentals - composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling
• Experiment with different styles - portrait, event, editorial, documentary
• Develop your own project - from first ideas to final edit
• Build confidence through feedback, collaboration, and guided practice
• Showcase your work in a group exhibition at WMC

Drwy chwe sesiwn wythnosol am ddim, byddi di’n dysgu sylfeini ffotograffiaeth, yn arbrofi gyda thechnegau creadigol, ac yn datblygu dy brosiect bach dy hunan – a hynny i gyd mewn gofod cefnogol o dan arweiniad y gwneuthurwr ffilmiau a’r ffotograffydd Pierre Simon.
