Have you ever gone to see a play and
thought you would have written it
differently? What Happens Next is a project
which begins with five writers writing the
first five minutes of a play each. These five
minutes are brought to life by directors and
actors for an audience, who are then posed
the question - what happens next?
Influenced by the audience’s responses, the
writers will then have 48 hours to continue
with their stories, writing the next five
minutes. These are then experienced by the
same audience the following week, where
afterwards they are proposed the same
question. What happens next? Over the
course of 5 weeks, with the input of writers,
directors, actors and audiences, 5 brand
new 30-minute pieces of theatre will be
developed.

Mae Beth Sy’n Digwydd Nesaf yn brosiect sy’n
dechrau gyda pum dramodydd yn ysgrifennu
pum munud cyntaf drama. Mae’r pum munud
yma yn dod yn fyw gyda chymorth
cyfarwyddwyr ac actorion ar gyfer cynulleidfa,
sydd yna yn ateb y cwestiwn, beth sy’n
digwydd nesaf?
Yna, wedi’u dylanwadu gan ymatebion y
gynulleidfa, bydd y dramodwyr yn cael 48 awr i
barhau â’u straeon, gan ysgrifennu’r pum
munud nesaf. Yna caiff y rhain eu profi gan yr
un gynulleidfa yr wythnos ganlynol, lle y
byddan nhw wedyn yn ateb yr un cwestiwn,
beth sy’n digwydd nesaf? Dros gyfnod o 5
wythnos, gyda mewnbwn dramodwyr,
cyfarwyddwyr, actorion a chynulleidfaoedd,
bydd pum darn newydd sbon o theatr 30
munud o hyd yn cael eu datblygu.
