💚☕🍰 WOW!! WE RAISED AN AMAZING £600 FOR MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT!! 🍰☕💚

What an absolutely fantastic result! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our wonderful community, our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday and Community Breakfast on Sunday raised a staggering £600 for Macmillan Cancer Support! 💚

That’s £75 MORE than last year’s £525, and we really couldn’t be more delighted! 🥳

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU to absolutely everyone who came along, donated, baked cakes, bought raffle tickets, enjoyed a cuppa (or two!) and helped make both mornings such a wonderful success.

We would also like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the local businesses and sponsors who so generously supported us with cakes, raffle prizes and donations, including:

But perhaps the loveliest part of the whole weekend was seeing Ickham Village Hall buzzing with people, laughter, conversation and community spirit. 🥰

As a small, volunteer-run village hall, bringing people together is at the heart of everything we do, and weekends like this remind us just how special our little community really is.

☕🍰 BREAKFAST AT THE HALL… WITH A TWIST! 💚

Join us at Ickham Village Hall tomorrow, Sunday 25th October, from 10am for breakfast, a cuppa and a friendly catch-up!

We still have some delicious cakes left from yesterday’s Macmillan Coffee Morning, so if you couldn’t make it—or fancy another slice—come along tomorrow! 🍰

It’s all free, with donations warmly welcomed. All donations tomorrow will be added to yesterday’s total for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

📚 Don’t forget our Book Swap—bring a book and find your next read!
♻️ Bring along your clothes and batteries for recycling, too.

⏰ And remember, the clocks go back tonight! If you forget to change yours and think you’re arriving at 11, you’ll actually be with us at 10—perfect timing for breakfast! 😂

💚☕ WHAT A WONDERFUL MORNING! 🍰💚

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to our Macmillan Coffee Morning at Ickham Village Hall today!

We had a fantastic turnout, and it was lovely to see the hall buzzing with people enjoying a cuppa, some delicious homemade cakes and, most importantly, each other’s company! ❤️

We have been absolutely overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness and generosity, and we really cannot thank you enough for supporting such a worthwhile cause.

A special thank you to everyone who baked or donated cakes, provided raffle prizes, helped organise the morning, served refreshments and supported us behind the scenes. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🥰

💚 We will be counting up all your very generous donations and raffle proceeds shortly and will let you know the grand total raised for Macmillan Cancer Support!

Every penny makes a difference, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make today such a success.

We're all getting ready for tomorrow's Macmillan Coffee Morning, and we'd absolutely love you to join us!

We've got a wonderful selection of homemade cakes being lovingly prepared by local residents, along with delicious treats generously donated by Gibsons Farm Shop, Goodnestone Tea Room and The Bakesmith. 🎂🧁

We've got some fantastic prizes kindly donated by Juliette's, Ivy Barn and many other wonderful local businesses and supporters.

🤠💃 YEE-HAW! LINE DANCING IS COMING TO ICKHAM VILLAGE HALL! 🎶👢

We’re SO excited to announce that we’re welcoming Line Dance Canterbury to Ickham Village Hall this November! 🎉

We’ve been working hard to bring new activities and opportunities to our lovely village hall, and we’re absolutely delighted to be adding LINE DANCING to our growing programme!

And the best bit? You don’t need any experience whatsoever! 🤠

Whether you’ve always fancied giving line dancing a go, want to get a little more active, meet new people, or simply enjoy a fun morning out, this could be just the thing for you!

💃 NEW ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS CLASS

📅 Starting Tuesday 10th November

🕙 10am – 11am

📍 Ickham Village Hall, CT3 1QU

💷 Just £6 per class (cash only)

🎉 NO NEED TO BOOK – JUST TURN UP!

You’ll be dancing to a mixture of country favourites and popular chart music, with a qualified and experienced instructor who will guide you through the steps.

And don’t worry if you’ve got two left feet – that’s what beginners’ classes are for! 😂

❤️ It’s not just about dancing!

We’re particularly excited about the social side of these classes. Our village hall is all about bringing people together, making new friendships, keeping active and having a bit of fun along the way.

The first three sessions will take place on 10th, 17th and 24th November, with the hope of making this a regular weekly activity from January if there’s enough interest.

💚🍰 JUST 6 DAYS TO GO – MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING! ☕💚

We’re getting ready for what promises to be a wonderful morning at Ickham Village Hall this Friday, 23rd October, and we’d love you to join us!

We’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of our local community and businesses who are helping us make this event extra special! 🥰💚

🧁 CAKES, CAKES & MORE CAKES! 🍰

We have some wonderful local people generously giving up their time to bake delicious homemade cakes for us, and we’re also incredibly grateful to:

We’re really proud of how our little Village Hall continues to grow, bringing people together, creating friendships and providing a welcoming place for our local community.

❤️ MORE THAN JUST A VILLAGE HALL

Ickham Village Hall has been at the heart of our community since 1911.

We’re a registered charity, run by a dedicated team of volunteers, and we’re passionate about creating a welcoming space where people can meet, learn, exercise, socialise and make new friends.

We already host a range of regular activities, including Pilates, fitness, dance and art classes, alongside our popular community breakfasts, quiz nights, bingo and other social events.

But we’d love to see even more happening here!

We’re particularly keen to encourage new activities that bring people together, help tackle loneliness and provide opportunities for local residents of all ages to enjoy something new.

Every additional club, class or group helps us make better use of our wonderful building, strengthen our community and support the future of our village hall.

And remember, you don’t need to have an established club already!

Perhaps you’ve always wanted to start a craft workshop, teach a fitness class, organise a friendship group or bring people together around a shared interest.
