👩‍🚒 DERBYSHIRE FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE have asked if WI members could help completing a survey, details below:
Your Safety, Your Say
We want Derbyshire communities to help shape the future of their fire and rescue service. Our Community Risk Management Plan 2027–2032 sets out the risks we face and our priorities for keeping people safe over the next five years. Through our 10-week consultation, we’re inviting residents, businesses, community groups and partners to read the plan, share their views and tell us what matters most to them. Visit their website at:
https://www.derbys-fire.gov.uk/ to access the Community Risk Management Plan 2027–2032 to complete the survey. You can also request an "in-person" visit from one of the Fire Crews to your WI to discuss this further and if this is something you are interested in please contact the team direct at : at [email protected].

Our October meeting is this Tues 13th Oct, 7pm. Our speaker will be from Riding for The Disabled (RDA)🐴

On the same day a coffee morning is being held at Buxton Methodist Church from 10am, with all proceeds going to the RDA. Everyone is welcome to come along and support the event 👍🏻

Our President, Alison, visited Haddon Hall Care Home today to donate all the beautiful ‘twiddle muffs’ knitted 🧶 for the produce show.

A big thank you to everyone who knitted and donated one ❤️
