🌻 After School Craft Club is back — and we're falling down the rabbit hole! 🐇✨
This September & October, join us every week from 3pm–4.30pm as we explore our Wonderland-themed term of creativity, colour, and curious crafts!
Our young crafters will be dreaming up magical makes all term long — and in late October, we'll open our doors to the community for a special exhibition, showcasing all the beautiful creations our Wonderland crafters have made. 🎨🍄

As part of the PEACEPLUS Strengthening Communities Programme, Turning Point NI are hosting a 'Women Building Wellness' programme running for 6 consecutive weeks on Thursday 17th September - Thursday 22nd October from 10-1pm in the Des Allen Suite, Ballymena Showgrounds

The 6-week programme will include workshops and presentations on Mental Health and Well-being, An introduction to Self Defence, Workshops on DIY and Electrical Basics, A presentation on Empowering People presented by Women's Aid and a Clubbercise session. The final session will include lunch and an evaluation of the programme.

There are a maximum of 10 Spaces and registration is now open by scanning the QR code. Confirmation emails will be sent to the first 10 sign-ups and after this, anyone interested can email Lisa or Meghan and be added to future programmes as we plan on running this again in future if there is interest. Councillor Alan Barr and myself had a productive evening at the Sunflower Circle with Katy, discussing practical ways to discourage anti-social behaviour in our community, particularly following the two recent break-ins at our community centre.

It was great to have the PSNI join us and contribute to the discussion.

A joined-up approach is required, with residents, community groups, the PSNI and local representatives working together to tackle these issues and make our neighbourhood safer.

Some very good ideas emerged from the discussion, and we’ll now look at how we can take these forward. Most importantly, we need everyone to come together, support one another and play their part in keeping our community safe.
