South Skye Community Campus Path Closure: Broadford Primary School to Suisnish Place

After a careful health and safety review it has been decided by the All-weather pitch contractors that we cannot safely keep the path from Broadford Primary School to Suisnish Place open for the first phase of construction.

This is an interim measure and we will do our utmost to re-open it as quickly and safely as possible. We anticipate that a temporary path will be open by the start of the new school session. We can only apologise for any inconvenience this might cause in the meantime but hopefully this short inconvenience will be well worth it when we have a fantastic new all-weather pitch facility and a new and improved path in place!

We have just completed the purchase of Broadford North Wood on behalf of the community! A big thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland and Highlands and Islands Enterprise for making this possible.

Please join us on 30 April to celebrate the acquisition and shape future plans. We're delighted that Applecross Community Woodland / Applecross Community Company and Tormore: Explore will be joining us to share advice and inspiration.

Happy to have IB Sports running their Mini Kicks session in the hall later this year ⚽️

New Summer Camp Class: Mini Kicks in Broadford!
13th to 17th July

As part of our programme in the south of the island, we have added a Mini Kicks session in the morning for our 4 and 5 year olds in the Village Hall in Broadford. The session is subject to sign ups and we currently only have 12 spaces. With only two weeks until we close applications, please be quick!

Community Spirit in Action 🙌

A huge thank you to our amazing Youth Club members who rolled up their sleeves this week and helped clear out the hall loft and cupboards!
Years of stored items, forgotten bits and general clutter were sorted, lifted, and loaded straight into the skip — no small task! 💪
Your hard work has made a massive difference and given the hall a fresh start. We’re incredibly grateful for your time, energy and teamwork.
