🩵Learning Disability Week 2026 – Day 4💙
Today we're shining a spotlight on Jake, one of our trainees at Spokes, based at Quarry Bank.
Jake has been part of Spokes since day one and has played an important role in the project's success. Through his dedication, hard work, and growing skills, he has helped countless bikes find a new lease of life.
We're especially proud to celebrate a recent milestone – Jake has now refurbished the 500th bike since Spokes opened at Quarry Bank! 🚲🎉
His achievement demonstrates the value of providing opportunities for people with learning disabilities to develop skills, gain experience, and make a real contribution to their communities.
Congratulations, Jake, on this fantastic accomplishment. Thank you for everything you have contributed to Spokes over the years – here's to the next 500 bikes!
🚲👏

🩵 Learning Disability Week – Day 3 💙
Today we're excited to introduce our Twigs Project! 🌿

We'll also be hearing from Benet and Hassan as they share why they enjoy coming to Twigs and what makes the project so special to them.

Twigs provides opportunities to learn new skills, build friendships, and be part of a supportive community.

t's Day 2 of Learning Disability Week 2026, and today we're celebrating the voices and experiences of the people who make TRP so special.
Today, we meet three of our trainees and one of our reading coaches as they share their thoughts, experiences, and what being part of TRP means to them.
From personal achievements to the support and opportunities they've found along the way, their stories highlight the positive impact of learning, growth, and inclusion. 💙🩵

Today marks the start of Learning Disability Week 2026!
Throughout this week, we will be shining a spotlight on one of our projects each day and celebrating the incredible trainees who make them such a success.
We are proud of everything our trainees achieve. Their dedication, enthusiasm, talent, and determination inspire us every day. This week is an opportunity to recognise their achievements, share their stories, and celebrate the positive impact they have within our projects and the wider community.
Please join us in celebrating all of our amazing trainees and the valuable contributions they make. We can't wait to share their journeys with you throughout the week.
Happy Learning Disability Week 2026! 🎉💙
