🌟Volunteer Awards Ceremony Recognition Team Lead Edition 🌟
Now, I would like to take a moment to recognize our Lead Volunteers who have guided and supported our station throughout most of this fiscal year.
Taking on a leadership role is both time‑consuming and challenging, and today we want to honor those who have dedicated their time, talent, and heart to ensuring our American Red Cross station continues to thrive. Their commitment over the past 12 months has strengthened our programs and uplifted our entire community.
🌟Training Services Lead – Mandy T.
As our Training Services Program Lead, Mandy has ensured the successful delivery of Red Cross training programs across our military community. This year, her team of seven instructors educated nearly 400 students, surpassing our goal of 140 by more than double and generating over $22,000 in revenue.
Thank you, Mandy, for your leadership and dedication to building a safer, better‑prepared community.
🌟Medical Treatment Facility Volunteer Partner – Sonja K.
Over the last 12 months, Sonja has led new volunteer leads and taken on the complex and essential task of onboarding medical volunteers. This process requires gathering extensive documentation, coordinating with hospital leadership and the Defense Health Agency, and thoughtfully placing volunteers in roles that meet both hospital needs and volunteer interests.
Thank you, Sonja, for your patience, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to the MTF program.
🌟Cozy Loop Outreach Volunteer Lead – Tina G.
Since November of last year, Tina has been instrumental in engaging volunteers through our Cozy Loop program. She has contributed over 110 hours guiding volunteers in various crafts, and she even spends her personal time researching tutorials and repairing equipment to keep the program running smoothly.
Thank you, Tina, for your creativity, dedication, and heart.
🌟Volunteer Engagement Lead – Alisha C.
Alisha plays a key role in keeping our volunteers connected and appreciated. She researches and sends out our monthly birthday notifications and ensures our volunteers feel seen and valued.
Thank you, Alisha, for being a true champion of volunteer engagement and outreach.
🌟Public Relations & Communication Lead – Byanca C/
Byanca plays a vital role in assessing media inquiries, overseeing information sharing, and maintaining the station’s positive public image through social media, presentations, and communication channels. Known for her strong writing skills, clear communication, and artistic talent, she contributed over 270 volunteer hours between Jul 2025 and Feb 2026 before becoming a staff member.
Thank you, Byanca, for your creativity, professionalism, and dedication to telling our story.
🌟Volunteer Intake Lead & Station Partner – Katie S.
Katie plays a crucial role in welcoming new volunteers and supporting station leadership. From onboarding new volunteers to guiding prospective ones, she ensures every step of the intake process is smooth and efficient. This past year, she onboarded over 20 new volunteers and trained others to support the process. You’ll also see her representing us at Community Action meetings, participating in AVP events, and supporting our coffee cart program.
Thank you, Katie, for being the first friendly face our volunteers meet and for setting them up for success.
