Lakenheath Middle School, get ready for some extra smiles next week!

Our famous Animal Visitation Team, Patrick and his wonderful morale dog, Gilbert, will be visiting RAF Feltwell on Wednesday, September 9th. 🐶❤️

They'll be making their way around the school, greeting students and staff, spreading positivity, and sharing plenty of tail wags along the way!

✨ Be sure to keep an eye out for Patrick and Gilbert and stop by to say hello when you see them around campus. You won't want to miss the chance to meet this amazing team!

💙 Proud of This Amazing Mother-Daughter Team! 💙

We are incredibly proud of Chery D and her daughter, Skye, for volunteering together to help set up and deliver our Spouse Orientation for our Newcomers! 🫶

It’s always special to see families serving together, sharing their time, talents, and hearts with others. Their teamwork and willingness to help make a real difference in welcoming our newest members of the community. 🌟

We love seeing families volunteer together and set such a wonderful example of service, kindness, and community spirit.

📢 Important Update for Cozy Loop Participants

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the American Red Cross RAFL Main Office will be closed TOMORROW. However, Cozy Loop will continue as scheduled from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the USO.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the USO for graciously allowing us to continue our normal operations in their facility with such short notice. Their support and partnership are greatly appreciated and help ensure we can continue serving our community without interruption.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the USO during our regular Cozy Loop hours!

We’re thrilled to announce that the American Red Cross has opened our very own Cozy Room — a welcoming space designed just for you!

☕🍫 What’s the Cozy Room?
It’s a comfy room in our office where you can enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, or tea, and use our crochet supplies, knitting materials, and sewing machines — all for FREE. Bring your friends, relax, create, and connect!

🧶🪡 Whether you’re learning or already crafting away, this space is yours to enjoy.

📅 Open Monday–Friday
⏰ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

🔒 Important: To use the Cozy Room, you must complete our Safety Training first.

Are you an active-duty U.S. military member stationed in the UK? Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your local community?

American Red Cross UK is proud to support Miles for Military by providing an eligible volunteer opportunity for military members! 🇺🇸🇬🇧

Through Miles for Military, eligible military members can complete a minimum of 25 hours of volunteer service with US and then apply for assistance with airfare to reconnect with family and loved ones back home✈️❤️

✅ Volunteer with American Red Cross UK
✅ Complete at least 25 hours of qualifying volunteer service
✅ Keep a record of your volunteer hours
✅ Once you meet the requirements, apply through Miles for Military for the opportunity to receive a flight home

BBQ & Co****le Tournament RAF Mildenhall

We were excited to participate in this great event for our Airmen! From welcoming everyone at the doors to helping make the BBQ and co****le tournament a success, our volunteers were there every step of the way. ❤️

Our amazing volunteers showed up early to help set up the food stations, co****le boards, tables, and scorekeeping, making sure everything was ready for a fun-filled event. Your time, energy, and teamwork truly made a difference!

Please read all class information carefully before signing up. We currently offer three different courses, and each course leads to a different certification. A brief description of each class is provided on SignUpGenius to help participants select the course that meets their requirements.

After registering, please read your confirmation email completely. We do not automatically receive payment notifications. You must follow the instructions in the email and provide proof of payment to complete your registration.

Huge shout out to our volunteers to participate at the USO Backyard Bash event.
That took care of all the First Aid, hydration station and they give away mugs, cups, bottles for hot and cold beverages and chocolate to the visitors of the tend.
