A plot holder is very happy to have grown , for the first time, a Graffiti F1 Purple Cauliflower.
Its known for its nutty flavour and intense flavour.
The deep purple is caused by high concentrations of anthocyanins and intensifies with more sunlight.

It retains its colour best when roasted, sautéed, or steamed, rather than boiled .

How amazing is this cauliflower??

From plot to freezer

The cauliflower & carrots were picked in the afternoon, washed and blanched , then put in ice cold water,they were removed when the vegetables were cold , and the excess water taken off , then placed on baking tray with greaseproof paper on .
The vegetables were laid on it and it was then placed in the freezer .
Once frozen they were put into bags In portions .

Well done to the plot holder .
