IAAC is a Boscombe Based Community Interest Organisation, Registered Charity dedicated to improving community and social inclusion
Charity Reg .1171108.

It's All About Culture, IAAC, was started up in early 2013 and is a community-led, grassroots organisation. We are dedicated to improving community cohesion, social inclusion, and general well-being, here in Boscombe and the surrounding areas. The committee, our team of keen volunteers, and local cultural groups and our community partners, achieve this through programmes of multicultural food, arts, and music events that showcase and celebrate our diversity.

🚨⛺ Urgent Tent Donation Appeal ⛺🚨

We need your support!

We urgently need tents for our Homeless Community.

A recurring issue with local authorities (confiscation of homeless people's belongings) makes our daily work near those in need even more challenging, especially with the increase in prices and the number of people in need, but we don't back down. We continue to do everything we can to give our Community the minimum of dignity and living conditions.

We have received more requests than expected for tents, so we are out of stock at the moment and already have new requests.

We need your support to make sure we can replace our stock and get it to the ones in need.

If you are upgrading your tents for summer, if you have some spare ones that you don't need anymore, if you have some that you haven't used for a long time, or if you are in a position to buy some, that will be amazing.

Your support will help us make sure that someone's day-to-day life is a little bit easier, more comfortable, safer, healthier, and dignified.

Thank you so much for your continued support; your help makes a huge difference in the support we maintain in our Community. 🙏🤩😊💫🧡

Grounded Composting needs you!

Do you enjoy physical, outdoors work, with a purpose? Are you concerned about climate, waste, and food supply issues? Would you like to help Boscombe lead the way, transforming waste into living soil?

We believe that small, local solutions are needed to deal with food waste; to reduce carbon & methane emissions; upskill our community; put valuable nutrients back into garden soils; and grow more food.

Exciting developments are on the way at our community composting project…
🌿New equipment, allowing us to process even more food waste.
🌿An electric cargo bike and trailer for zero-emission collections.
🌿Testing new, affordable, community-scale composting techniques.

Where - The rooftop of the Sovereign Shopping Centre on Boscombe high street.
When - Tuesday and/or Friday mornings between 10am and 12pm

Please contact [email protected] to express your interest, meet the team and arrange a visit.
