The World Cup starts today.
If you are having a gathering to watch the games or just having a relaxed time watching at home, here are a few things to remember:
🍾Glass and plastic bottles can be recycled from home
🪩Foil can be scrunched in a ball and recycled at home
🛒Plastic film, such as crisp packets, sweet bags etc. can all be taken to a local supermarket for recycling.

We’ll be collecting again for the Ukraine Hub Nottingham.

Priority list remains:

✅ Medical,
✅ First Aid items

✅ Food, (Tinned fish and pot noodles for the defenders. )

✅ Toiletries + Hygiene Products,

✅ Animal Food,

Plus

✅ NEW UNDERWEAR + NEW SOCKS.
✅ FOLDING MOBILITY AIDS.

The ReHome zone at the tip accepts reusable items.

We do very much invite our visitors to get involved in repairs where possible.

This visitor in May brought along her daughters prom dress..the sequins along the bottom got damaged by her heels during the prom. She wanted it repaired to reuse. Our textile repairer Linda showed her how & they sewed together for a while, and she is finishing it herself at home.
