šŸ“£šŸ“£šŸ“£HAVE YOUR SAY - survey closes TOMORROW!šŸ“£šŸ“£šŸ“£
STAND North Wales are working with Community Transport Association’s ā€˜Creating Connections’ project – Their aim is to improve community transport for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities.
Please complete or share this survey:
https://accessiblesurveys.com/v2/1qcPfe0NrrNgrIzhBBNS/intro

Feedback from 16–25‑year‑olds with lived experience, as well as parents and carers of children of any age, would be incredibly valuable in helping us understand what’s working and what needs to improve

Transport can be a daily challenge for families of children and young people with additional needs or disabilities - and those experiences matter.
The Community Transport Association is inviting parents and carers to take part in its survey, funded by Motability Foundation, to better understand unmet needs and explore how Community Transport can make a real difference.

Survey respondents can enter a prize draw to win one of three £250 high street vouchers.
The survey is for Parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs or disabilities, aged up to 25, and Young people aged 16–25 with a lived experience.

Thanks so much for your support

Dawnsio Gogledd Cymru 2026
A partnership event with STAND North Wales, , Mencap Mon Hub and Llwybrau Llesiant.

Help Us Bring 200 Learning disabled, autistic and neurodivergent Performers to the Stage at Venue Cymru.
Dawnsio Gogledd Cymru 2026 is an inclusive dance showcase that gives adults and young people with a Learning Disability, Autism or who are neurodivergent the chance to shine on a professional stage. Last year’s event was truly transformational — dancers grew in confidence, families cried with pride, and professional artists described it as one of the most meaningful projects they had ever worked on.

This year, we’re expanding from 150 to 200 performers across MĆ“n, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire , and Flintshire, including a brand new 14–19 cohort from Canolfan Addysg y Bont. Throughout the autumn, dancers will take part in rehearsals designed to build confidence, teamwork and creativity before performing at Venue Cymru on 26 November 2026, hosted by Colin Jackson.

The showcase will feature ensemble pieces created with Dawns i Bawb, a Ballroom performance by World Silver Medallists (aged 12), guest artists Han and Fran (Britain’s Got Talent), live music from The Moniars, and co presentation roles for performers. All choreography, rehearsals and backstage environments are fully accessible, ensuring every performer can take part at the highest level.

For many of our dancers, this is their first time being seen, celebrated and treated as professional artists. Families tell us the experience is life changing. Performers tell us they feel proud, confident and part of something bigger. Professional artists tell us they learn new ways of working that change their practice forever. This event is not just a performance — it’s a celebration of talent, inclusion and community.

What Your Donation Helps Pay For
To make Dawnsio Gogledd Cymru 2026 a fully accessible, professional and unforgettable experience, we need support with the essential costs that bring the showcase to life:

Venue Hire
Venue Cymru provides world class staging, lighting and sound, giving performers a true professional platform.

Decorations & Set Dressing
Creating a welcoming, celebratory environment that feels special for performers and families.

Filming & Digital Content

Dance Lessons & Rehearsals

Entertainment Within the Show
Live music, guest artists, ballroom champions and professional performers who elevate the artistic quality of the event.

Marketing & Promotion

We had such a lovely kick start to our Home Ed Nature Walk sessions, at Rhuddlan Nature Reserve. Managing to have a window with no rain, to explore the beautiful diverse wildlife as part of a scavenger hunt activity! We all had great fun learning about the different plants, berries and animals that all support each other through the different seasons. A massive thank you to the National Wildlife Trust and the young people for making this session so fun!

Bu ein Taith Natur cyntaf o'r gyfres yn un hyfryd yn mynd am dro yng Ngwarchodfa Natur Rhuddlan. Llwyddom i arbed y glaw a gallu gweld bywyd gwyllt amrywiol. Cawsom ni hwyl yn dysgu am y planhigion, y mefus a'r anifeiliaid gwahanol sy'n cefnogi eu gilydd drwy'r tymhorau gwahanol. Diolch enfawr i Ymddiriedolaeth Bywyd Gwyllt Genedlaethol a'r bobl ifanc am wneud y sesiwn hon mor hwylus!
