NEYA YOUTH VOICE MEETING (South of the Region)
THURSDAY, 1ST OCTOBER

Join us for our South of the region Youth Voice event where we explore and share key findings from the North East Youth Alliance survey around Youth Voice. During this meeting we will explore next steps for Youth Voice across the region. We will also be hearing from a young person around the importance of implementing youth voice into our work.

Parking is available on site and also free on street parking close by too. Pastries and refreshments will be provided.

What a fantastic day we had on Friday at our Annual Clay Pigeon Shoot in Felton!

A huge thank you to all the young people and groups who took part and helped make the day such a success:

Sacriston Youth Project
Hebburn Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets -TS Kelly
North Tyneside Police Cadets
Northumberland Police Cadets
Escape Intervention Services Ltd

It was brilliant to see so many young people getting involved, trying something new and enjoying the day together.

A massive thank you to 12 Bores Club and their chair, Ron Jackman, for their continued support and for helping make the day possible.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to our amazing coaches, John, Glynn and Brian for sharing their expertise and providing encouragement throughout the day.

Finally, thank you to Enid at The Cook & Barker Inn and everyone else who played a part behind the scenes.

It takes a fantastic team to put an event like this together and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it such a memorable experience for the young people.

The Impact Awards nominations are now open! 🌟

We know there are incredible people across the North East youth sector who go above and beyond every day. The Impact Awards are our chance to celebrate them!

Why should you nominate?
👉Because sometimes the people making the biggest difference don’t realise just how much their work matters.

Maybe it’s a young person who has found their confidence and is creating change in their community. Maybe it’s a youth worker who always goes the extra mile. Maybe it’s a volunteer whose time, passion and dedication make a real difference to young people’s lives.

Do you care about young people having a voice and making a difference in their communities? 💬📣

We’re looking for a Trainee Youth Voice Worker to join our team and support exciting youth voice projects across the North East.

This is a great opportunity for someone aged 16-25 who is passionate about working with young people, wants to build their skills and experience and believes in making sure young people are listened to and involved in the decisions that affect them.

📍Based in Blaydon, with travel expected
🕥25 hour per week - job share considered
💷£13.45 per hour
🗓️Fixed term until April 2027
