Thank you to Kirsty for her book signing event yesterday which was a big success with lots of visitors. Kirsty will be back in the Spring with her new novel.

We have some events on for our younger visitors in the next few weeks and then of course we will have another weekend with Santa and his Elves on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December. Tickets will be on sale shortly. Watch out here on Fb for details.

Just a reminder that we are now on our winter hours in the Tea Room and will be closing at 2.30pm with last food orders at 2pm.

Please be aware that both gates to the site will be locked when our volunteers leave for the day.

Don`t forget this Sunday the 11th we have local author Kirsty Ferry on site here at Path Head.

Kirsty has been a friend of the Watermill for a long time and we delighted to have her share her work with us. Some of her work is set her in the North East. Why not come along and meet her she would love to have a chat with you about these and her other books.

Along with our winter hours we are also serving our winter menu.
Why not come along and sample some delicious home baked goodies including

Our selection of scones and cakes
Bacon and Sausage Butties
A selection of cold Sandwiches and Toasties served with crisps
Corned Beef Pie and Cheese and Onion Pie served with crisps
And our home made Soup served with either a Scone or Roll

On Sunday 11th October we have Kirsty Ferry on site her at Path Head.

Kirsty has been a friend of the Watermill for a long time and will be here signing her books and having a chat with everyone. We are very much looking forward to having her here.

Some of her books are set here in the North East. If you are familiar with her work why not come along and meet her.

CHARITY YOGA EVENT

We are so pleased that everyone enjoyed the Yoga event on Sunday, looks like it was another huge success. We would like to say a big thank you to Mariza for giving her time to deliver these sessions and to Nadine who has joined her on her last couple of days.

And also to everyone who has taken part in them this year. Your donations all go towards funding the upkeep of the site so thank you so much, it really is appreciated.

The season is passing so quickly this year here at Path Head. Just to let all of our lovely customers know that we will soon be changing to our winter opening times. As of the 3rd October the Tea Room will be open the following hours.

WEEKEND EVENTS

Just to remind everyone of our events this coming weekend.

On Saturday we have `Threepenny Bit` coming along to entertain you in the Tea Room gardens. They are a local group of musicians and singers who perform local songs that you will all know and want to sing along to.

Then on Sunday Mariza will be on site delivering her last Yoga Event of the year.

The Mill Race Tea Room will be open Saturday and Sunday 10.30am - 3pm with last food orders at 2.30pm.

All of our volunteers give their time generously and are there to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely. If you would be interested in volunteering there is usually a Trustee around at the weekend who you can discuss opportunities with. If not one of our volunteers will take your details and we will get back to you. We would love to have you on our team.
