PATH HEAD WATERMILL TRUST

DOGS FUN DAY
SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER
11am - 2pm

On Saturday 5th September we will be hosting our Doggy Fun Day. There will be plenty to keep them entertained along with plenty of treats and maybe a few rewards for them as well. We are being very kind and catering for their owners as well with lots of treats in the Mill Race Tea Room. Our Cakey Ladies will have been very busy making all of the cakes, scones, pies and quiches as well as sandwiches and salads.

We also have on site Gail from Tyne Valley Dog Sports who has very kindly offered to show us what they do. She will be giving demonstrations and there will be an opportunity for you to try these out with your own dogs.

The Mill Race Tea Room will be open

Saturday and Sunday 10.30am - 3pm with last food orders at 2.30pm

Remember both gates to the site will be locked when our volunteers leave for the day

On Sunday 20th September Mariza our resident Yoga Instructor will be on site delivering another of her Charity Yoga Events.

Price is £10 Donation per person which will include a tea or coffee, further refreshments can be purchased from the Tea Room.

Tickets will be on sale in the Mill Race Tea Room. Ask our Cakey Ladies for details.

QUIZ NIGHT

MAXIMUM 50 TICKETS

On Thursday 10th September we will be hosting another of our very popular Quiz Nights with our resident Quiz Masters David and Simon.

Tickets will be on sale in the Mill Race Tea Room this weekend. £5 per ticket to include a sandwich. Please let the Cakey Ladies have your choice of sandwich and any special dietary requests/allergies when purchasing tickets.

We will not be selling alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own if wanted.

On Sunday 11th October we have the pleasure of welcoming local author Kirsty Ferry on site.

Kirsty has been a friend of the Watermill for many years and we are delighted to have her share her books with us. Those who are familiar with her work will know that some of her books are set here in the North East.

Kirsty will be on site from 11am - 1pm. Why not come along and meet her, she would love to chat with you all about these and her other works.

DOGS FUN DAY

On Saturday 5th September we will be hosting our Dogs Fun Day for all of our four legged furry friends.

We will have lots to keep them entertained with Hoops, Tunnels, Jumps and a Slalom course for them to try. We have plenty of doggy treats and one or two for their owners to enjoy in the Tea Room.

We also have on site Gail from Tyne Valley Dog Sports. She has very kindly offered to be around for a few hours to show us what they do. She will be doing some demonstrations and there will be an opportunity to try some of the activities with your own dogs.

We look forward to seeing all of our regular visitors (along with their owners!!!!) and if you've not been to visit us before why not come along and see what we have to offer.

Just a reminder that our normal menu will be back this weekend. Why not come along and enjoy some home baked treats and take in the beauty of the gardens and grounds.

There is plenty to do for our younger visitors with the Bug Hunt and Scavenger Hunt and our big games will be out also.

The Tea Room opens at 10.30am. If you arrive on site before then please feel free to wander the grounds until the Cakey Ladies have everything sorted. Or just sit in the gardens enjoying the peace and tranquillity.

PATH HEAD WATERMILL TRUST

What a fantastic time we had at Path Head Watermill this weekend.

On Saturday we held our annual Classic Car Event with approximately 50 beautiful cars on site. Thank you to all of the exhibitors who took the time to attend and show their cars and to everyone who turned up to see them. It really was a lovely day I'm just sorry that I didn't get time to come out and chat to everyone.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who supported the day from the Marshalls to the Cakey Ladies. I think it was probably a record day for us in the Tea Room it was so busy. Can we just thank all of the customers for waiting so patiently for orders.

Then on Sunday we had a group of local artists visiting, taking inspiration from the gardens. And another busy day in the Tea Room for everyone.

Just a reminder that our normal menu will be back this weekend.
