🚲 Bronze Level Bike Service - Basic Safety & Tune-Up — £20
Our Bronze Level Bike Service is a basic mechanical check and tune-up designed for bikes that are generally in good working condition but need a little attention before getting back on the road.
Pre-bookable service only.
What’s Included
🔧 Safety & Mechanical Check
General safety inspection of the bike
Check headset, bottom bracket and wheel hubs for excessive play or issues
Check frame, forks and key components for obvious damage
Check that nuts, bolts and fixings are secure
⚙️ Gears & Drivetrain
Inspect chain and drivetrain for visible wear
Check gear shifting and make basic adjustments where required
Lubricate the chain
🛑 Brakes
Inspect brake condition and operation
Check brake alignment and adjustment
Make basic brake adjustments where appropriate
🚲 Wheels & Tyres
Inspect tyres for wear, damage and general condition
Check wheels for obvious issues
Inflate tyres to a suitable pressure
🔩 General Maintenance
Check and tighten accessible fixings where required
Re-grease seat post where appropriate
Basic adjustments to ensure the bike is safe and ready to ride
What Happens If We Find a Problem?
If your bike requires parts, replacement components or repairs beyond the scope of the Bronze Service, we will let you know before carrying out additional work.
Additional parts and repairs are not included in the ÂŁ20 service price and will be quoted separately where possible.
Please Note:
The Bronze Service is a basic safety check and tune-up, not a full strip-down or overhaul. It is intended for bikes that are already in reasonably good mechanical condition.
Bikes requiring extensive repairs, replacement parts, wheel building, bearing servicing or major drivetrain/brake work may require a higher level of servicing.
