🎉 What a fantastic Family Bingo Night! 💙🤍

Over 100 people joined us at Blues for an evening full of fun, laughter, and great prizes.

💙🤍 Today feels like the perfect day to share this incredible video Spring North has produced about Blackburn Rovers Dads FC.

We’re incredibly proud that Blackburn Rovers Dads FC has been shortlisted for the Innovation Award at tomorrow’s Spring North Awards. Being recognised alongside so many inspiring projects is a fantastic achievement, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with participants and partners who have helped make this year such a success.

🙌 A huge thank you to Spring North for capturing the heart of what Dads FC is all about and for showcasing the difference it makes to so many dads and families.

As we mark Men’s Health Month and the coming Men’s Health Week (15th-21st June), it shines a light on the real impact of a project that brings together physical activity, peer support, friendship, and open conversations around mental wellbeing.

What a fantastic first session of the GULP Project with Year 4 at St Barnabas CE Primary Academy, Darwen!💙⚽

It was great to see them getting involved in the activities and asking questions about sugary drinks and healthier alternatives.

We’re looking forward to returning over the coming weeks and seeing their confidence and knowledge continue to grow. 🙌

** Year 4 - PE: Introduction to The GULP Project **

One of the weekly PE sessions in Year 4 this half term will be delivered by Blackburn Rovers FC in conjunction with Blackburn with Darwen Council. The GULP Project aims to get children active and also think about the drinks they consume, encouraging them to make healthy choices. This week was our first session in which we completed a sugary drinks quiz and an A to Z of drinks. We also received our free reusable GULP water bottles and were given a brief idea of the exciting activities that we will take part in over the next 4 weeks.
