💙 WE CAN’T WAIT TO WELCOME YOU BACK to The Youthy!

After another brilliant and very busy summer at Central Park, our HYPE team are really looking forward to welcoming our young people back to Junior Club! 🙌

Every Tuesday, children aged 7–11 can come along, catch up with friends, meet new ones and enjoy three hours of fun with our friendly HYPE team.

Each week there’ll be plenty going on, including:

🎨 Creative activities
🏃 Fitness & physical activities
🍕 Baking & food activities
🏆 Fun competitions
⚽ Team games & challenges
🎮 Games and social time
🍽️ Hot & healthy food

Most importantly, it’s a place for our young people to have fun, feel welcome and enjoy being themselves. 💙

Are you 18-26, love working with young people, and up for the experience of a lifetime? We're looking for Camp Counsellors to join our Summer 2027 USA Camp Team.

Before you even set foot on a plane, you'll pick up real training and qualifications through HYPE: safeguarding training, first aid, a Level 1 in your chosen skill, and a two-day volunteering visit to one of our courses across Merseyside✨

✅What’s included?
Visa sponsorship and support, pre-camp orientation, food and accommodation on camp, 24/7 support from your sponsor, up to $2000 in camp pay, up to 30 days of travel time, and group international accident and sickness cover.

How it works:
1. Register your interest through the form on our website
2. Have a chat with HYPE about your programme
3. Get your application approved and pay your £100 deposit
4. Complete an Enhanced DBS check and provide two references
5. Pay your second instalment of £150
6. Complete your job-specific qualifications with HYPE (fully funded)
7. Make your final payment of £150 for your DS2019 issuance
8. Book your visa appointment and secure your flights to America

🗓️When? May to August 2027 (+ / - 12 weeks)
📍Where? Take your pick from New York, New Jersey, Texas, California and more!

Specialised skills like lifeguarding, swim instruction, biking, arts or sports are a bonus!

We're looking for 10-12 young people to form the new Pride in Place Seacombe Youth Board.

We want young people to have a bigger say in what happens in Seacombe and help us make more things possible for children and young people. Share your ideas. Have your voice heard. Help decide what needs to change. Work with Pride in Place and local partners to turn ideas into action. Don't just tell us what should happen, help us make it happen!

Working with children and young people in Seacombe since 2008 through HYPE, Matt has delivered youth projects across local schools, Guinea Gap, parks and other community spaces.

💬 Why did he join the Board?
“To bring my experience in youth development and green space regeneration to help make a positive difference in Seacombe.”

🌱 He’s particularly looking forward to seeing new spaces created by young people, for young people, while also providing something the wider community can enjoy.

✨ Fun fact: Guinea Gap cages and the Town Hall steps are two of his favourite places - and, as a proud Evertonian, you can’t beat the view across the Mersey! 💙
