Today we honour and celebrate the life of Ms Feng Ting Li (16 October 1925 – 4 February 2026), who lived an incredible 100 years.

For many years Ms Li was part of the WMO family, and it was a privilege for us to support her and share moments of joy, celebration and community together.

She witnessed a full century of history and carried herself with quiet strength, dignity and grace that touched those around her.

Today we do not simply remember her passing — we celebrate a life beautifully lived.

Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones. We are grateful to have shared part of her journey and to have known her within our community.

Her legacy and memory will always remain part of the WMO family.

Lent has begun.
Observed by millions of Christians worldwide, Lent is a 40-day season leading up to Easter. It is a time of reflection, discipline and intentional renewal.
Many choose to fast, give something up, or increase acts of prayer and generosity during this period.
As an organisation serving diverse communities, we recognise the significance of this season for those observing.
Wishing a meaningful Lenten season to all who mark it.

Ramadan began yesterday — a sacred month observed by millions around the world.
Fasting from dawn to sunset is only part of the story. Ramadan is about reflection, discipline, gratitude and compassion. It is a reminder of empathy for those facing hardship and a time when charity and community spirit increase.
At Wirral Multicultural Organisation, we recognise and respect the diverse faiths that shape our communities. Ramadan reminds us of the power of unity and shared humanity.
Ramadan Mubarak to all who are observing.

Chinese New Year is one of the oldest and most widely celebrated cultural traditions in the world.
But beyond the decorations and festivities, there is a rich history rooted in legend, the lunar calendar and centuries of tradition.
In this short video, we explore how Chinese New Year began and why it continues to hold deep cultural significance across generations.
At WMO, we believe that meaningful inclusion starts with understanding. Taking time to learn about cultural heritage builds stronger, more informed and more connected communities.
We invite you to watch, reflect and celebrate with us.
