We are pleased to share details of our phase 1 plans for the primary playgrounds, which we hope to have installed over the summer holidays, these include:

1. Artificial Grass for the KS1 playground
2. A climbing frame and trim trail for the KS2 playground
3. Fixed covered sand pits for the KS1, KS2 and the reception playgrounds

As you can imagine these all come at a significant cost, and to keep us on track for a summer holidays install, we need your help to get us over that final line.

As we head towards the end of the year, our pre-loved uniform stock is running low, if you have any uniform you’d like to part with, please do drop it into our donation bin in reception. It will all be so gratefully received.

Exciting news! We've been chosen as one of Bracknell Forest Council's Good Causes for their Recycling Incentive Scheme!

Here's how you can support us - just by recycling:
If you're part of the BFC recycling incentive scheme, you can donate your recycling points to us. It costs you nothing extra!

💷 There's £1,000 available this quarter (May 1st - July 31st 2026), split between three good causes based on points donated.

⭐️ A night at the (virtual) races ⭐️🔞

A Night at the Races on the Big Screen!

Get ready for an evening of excitement, entertainment, and competitive fun! Join us for our Night at the Races – a unique event that brings the thrill of the racecourse to you!

Date: Friday 3rd July 2026
Time: 7:30 - 10:30 PM
Location: King’s Academy Binfield Secondary School Hall

Cheer on your favourite horses in a series of pre-recorded races, place your bets, win cash prizes, and enjoy a fun night with friends. It’s the perfect opportunity to get together for a mum’s or dad’s night out, but leave the organising to us!

Bets & raffle tickets are £1 each, cash only for these please. We will be able to take card payments on the bar.

What to Expect:
• Horse racing on the big screen hosted by Mr Fisher
• Licensed bar
• Yummy food from Not Just Baps
• Raffle

Our sister school, King’s Academy Oakwood, are holding a Summer Fair on the 27th June. It promises to be an amazing day full of fun, performances, food and lots of local stalls!

It would be so lovely to see Binfield children and parents there too, we can’t wait to visit!

🍫WonKia 2026🍫

What an absolutely incredible event!

We hope everyone enjoys their prizes and their chocolate, I know we did!

A HUGE thank you to West End Garage Kia for sponsoring the event, and attending on the day, we couldn’t have done it without you! Please do give them a visit!

Massive thank you also to Mrs A and Mr Jung who came along to support the event, with some awesome costumes!

Just a reminder, we have the last few remaining bars for sale after school today with some great prizes still remaining!

We are so excited to welcome you to our WonKia event after school tomorrow. Just a few things we wanted to remind you of:

- Please collect your bars from your eldest child’s class, all tables will be signposted.
- Bars available on the day will be on a separate table, alongside a paid £1 lucky dip if you fancy an extra bit of luck!
- Prizes need to be collected from the prize table, this includes the school prizes so we can let the school know who has won each of them, alternatively, please email us on [email protected]
- Collections of bars and prizes will also be available Thursday before and after school, and Friday after school.

It promises to be an amazing event, we really hope you can join in the fun with us!
