Another date for the diary champs.
These events are never compulsory, but EVERYONE is welcome, whether you want to compete, support the team, or just come along and be part of the atmosphere.
Competitions are about more than medals. They give you a focus between gradings, help build confidence, and create memories with other TSD memebers that turn into lifelong friendships. Some of the best bonds are made on days like these.

Well… what a weekend we’ve had! Non stop laughs from start to finish
After watching everyone’s performances back and taking time to reflect, I honestly don’t have a single comment about what anyone could have done differently to change the results. Every single person gave an excellent demonstration of strong, solid Tang Soo Do hyungs 💪🏻
One thing that really stayed with us all over the weekend was a quote from Master Trudgill
“How long does it take the average person to get their black belt?”
The answer being… the average person doesn’t get their black belt. It takes a special kind of person to complete this journey and continue down the road of a martial artist.
Proud of every single one of you.

I honestly couldn’t be prouder of these. To step onto a stage of this size and standard takes real courage, and for them to be the first from our club to do it makes it even more special. No matter the results, they’ve already achieved something massive and represented us with bravery, hard work and determination.
Also a massive congratulations to our very own Paul on becoming a 2x European Champion! An incredible achievement and one that inspires the whole team.

It was lovely meeting new friends, but also amazing catching up with some of my previous instructors. Moments like these remind you how strong and supportive the martial arts community really is, hopefully not to long before we catch up again.

A huge thank you to Thrive Collaborative Care Ltd for helping to support this trip, giving our memebers the opportunity to go.

Momentum is building at Thrive Collaborative Care, and it’s starting to feel very real.

We now have meetings planned in with Local Authorities across the region, conversations rooted in partnership, emotional safety, and a shared commitment to creating homes where children feel understood and genuinely cared for.

Every meeting is another step toward the kind of collaborative relationships that make great care possible.

And now…
we are just six weeks away from picking up the keys to our very first home.

Six weeks until a shell can start to feel like a home
Six weeks until our trauma‑informed, relational practice model moves into our next stage of planning.
Six weeks until we can start the design phase.

This is the moment where Thrive begins to breathe.

Every policy, every conversation, every late‑night planning session, every piece of governance and culture‑building, it’s all been stepping stones and this is a big one.

We’re ready.
We’re excited.
And we’re building a home where children won’t just be cared for…
