Synthonia Scout Group Synthonia Scouts we meet on Tuesdays for Scouts Wednesday for Squirrels / Beavers and Thursdays for Cubs. Join the Adventure! So, what did you do last weekend?

Over 1 million scouts worldwide have one thing in common, each week they choose to experiance fun, friendship and a sence of real adventure. So, are you ready to begin your adventure? There are five sections you can join, depending on your age. The activities and opportunities vary but what is the same is that each will empower you to make friends, learn skills and try
new things. So, maybe knot

tieing isnt for you, but the list of outdoor activities like climbing, quad biking, cycling might have something for you! There are many ways you can kick-start your adventure, as a young person, parent or adult volunteer. Our volunteers get involved on their terms and not all roles involve working with young people. If you can give a little time (or a lot) to help improve young lives in your community, we'd love to hear from you. Be Prepared...... The Adventure starts here.

Tonight the cubs took part in a litter pick around the streets near our scout hut. This was to complete the community impact badge that we started a few weeks ago. In all we collected four large bags of litter. This was a great effort by the cubs. Back at the scout hut I invested Keneu, our explorer scout helping us as a young leader and Jacala, our new adult leader into the group.

We Have some Great News, We've been shortlisted for the Teesside Charity. Golden Giveaway 2026!

This is a fantastic opportunity to help raise vital funds for the Centenary Project roof repair work at our Synthonia Scout Hut.

We have qualified through to the last 20 charities, but now its up to you, we need all your support. The more votes we receive the better the grant we will receive, so please ask everyone you know to take the time to vote for us. It's one vote per email address so lets rally our Synthonia spirit and really get everyone in our community involved.

Tonight at Scouts, we tried various team-building activities, including the Helium Stick, building a shoe tower in silence and the Blanket Game. We finished the night with some games.

So that’s a wrap to the scouts backwards camp 26!!! After breakfast the scouts did inspection and got packed up for home. We had some chicken wraps for lunch and then did a womble of our site before setting off back. From PL’s to new Scouts they should all be extremely proud of themselves, the teamwork and effort shown from them all was outstanding. Also a massive thank you must go to the Leaders and Young Leader/SPL for all there help to make the weekend happen. Big one next 48 days till Summer Camp!!!
