Synthonia Scout Group Synthonia Scouts we meet on Tuesdays for Scouts Wednesday for Squirrels / Beavers and Thursdays for Cubs. Join the Adventure! So, what did you do last weekend?

Over 1 million scouts worldwide have one thing in common, each week they choose to experiance fun, friendship and a sence of real adventure. So, are you ready to begin your adventure? There are five sections you can join, depending on your age. The activities and opportunities vary but what is the same is that each will empower you to make friends, learn skills and try
new things. So, maybe knot

tieing isnt for you, but the list of outdoor activities like climbing, quad biking, cycling might have something for you! There are many ways you can kick-start your adventure, as a young person, parent or adult volunteer. Our volunteers get involved on their terms and not all roles involve working with young people. If you can give a little time (or a lot) to help improve young lives in your community, we'd love to hear from you. Be Prepared...... The Adventure starts here.

🏗️🦫 Beaver Teamwork Challenge! 🦫🏗️

This week our Beavers put their teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills to the test! 🤝💭

Working together in teams, they were challenged to use just mini marshmallows and cocktail sticks to build the tallest and strongest tower they could! 🍡🏢

There was lots of planning, building, rebuilding… and plenty of marshmallow temptation! 😂

The Beavers had to listen to each other, share ideas, work as a team and persevere when their towers didn’t quite go to plan. 💪⭐

It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved and supporting their teammates. ❤️

That’s the end of another summer camp, with the bittersweet feeling of the sadness to be home, the happiness of returning to family and the feeling of your own bed. We’ve had a good time, (despite the weathers best efforts), and feasted on great food, prepared by Tony and Mark, with Tony on his final camp before his retirement from camp chef duties. Enjoy it Tony, I think everyone can agree you’ve earned it and it’s very well deserved.

This morning David’s patrol won inspection then we cracked on with the heptathlon with badminton then volleyball. The winners of the volleyball final were Leaders A team with a Combined age of 160 with the runners up being James, Emily and Chase who beat the other patrol,young leaders and a Leaders B in the road to the final.Now we are just finishing dinner and then off for a hike up beacon fell
