In 2020 the work of Tots2teens as a charity came to an end, but God is good and still at work.
On the 6th October 2024 Hope Community Church began working in the TS1 and TS5 areas of Middlesbrough.

We have a church service for the whole family every Sunday,
2:00pm-4:00pm

a youth bible study every week on Tuesdays.

In 2025 we hope to begin midweek children's work.

We would love to have you involved, we have missed your smiley faces 😃

Not ashamed of the Gospel

Carrying on in Romans

v6-17

6 And you also are among those Gentiles {non Jews} who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.
7 To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be his holy people: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. . .

Verses 8-¡5 speak of Pauls longing to travel to Rome but to preach the gospel and teach the people there the great truths of the Gospel but God had a better plan and through this letter we can all better understand how great and glorious this good news is. . .

Verse 16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed – a righteousness that is by faith from first to last,e just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.

Do you believe?
I mean really truely believe the God the Son became man lived a sinless lift willingly gave his life for all who believe , rose from the grave deafeting death That by faith you migh be made right with God, and live for him.

If we get it then even beginning to understand Christ love should compel us to share this good news.

Paul was not ashamed to share the good news
If you believe do you share this message of Salvation.

I hope as we look at Romans the Gods love will excite us. And compel us to reach others.

We are going to look at Romans for a bit,
Here is the good news as it really is. . .

Romans 1:1-5

v1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God
v2 - the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures
v3 -regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life .was a descendant of David,
v4 - and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
v5 - Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes fromc faith for his name’s sake.
. .

1- Paul was an Apostle, some one who has seen the risen Jesus, and speaks with God's authority.
2-3 He is writing to explain just how good. The old testament promised good news really is and how these promises have been delivered through Jesus the eternal Son of God and eternal human King in David's line.
4- already Paul tells us, Jesus is fully human, and fully God, our risen Saviour, Jesus Christ our Lord.
5- Paul is bringing the glorious good news of Gods grace to people who are far from him "the Gentiles" - people like us.
