Bideford Bike Nights Bideford Bike Nights held April 30th, May 28th, June 25th, July 30th, Aug 27th, Sept 24th 2026 ALL riders welcome ALL bikes/trikes welcome.

Bideford Bike Nights held from 6.00pm at the quay car park Bideford the last Thursday of the month April though to September. Refreshments are available at the Devon food Co stand or from the surrounding eateries. We don't charge an entrance fee but a donation into our bucket would be gratefully received which is to be given to a chosen charity at the end of the season. In association with Bidefor

***TIMINGS UPDATE***

We have been contacted by Mike Colman, who has asked us to share the following information regarding the funeral es**rt for Tony Brown.

It is with great sadness that Tony was involved in a tragic road accident on 22nd May whilst riding his bike to work.

Many of you will have known Tony through the local biking community, as he regularly attended both Bideford and Barnstaple Bike Nights. He was a familiar face to many and will be greatly missed.

Tony's funeral will take place on 30th June at 11:30am at Barnstaple Crematorium. To honour Tony and give him the send-off he deserves, it is hoped that as many riders as possible will join a funeral es**rt ride.

The plan is to meet at County Garage, Barnstaple, before accompanying Tony on his final ri**de to the crematorium.

**update on timings, meeting at county garage 10.30/10.40 tony will arrive to leave at 10.55 to take him on his last ride***❀️

Please consider joining the es**rt and helping to give Tony the respectful farewell he deserves. Your presence and support would mean a great deal to his family, friends, and fellow riders.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Tony's family, friends, and everyone who knew him.

Maria Costello is reported to be in serious but stable condition after suffering a heavy crash during qualifying for the Sidecar TT at the 2026 Isle of Man TT.

The British rider was flown to a specialist hospital in Aintree following the accident at Brandish Corner alongside passenger Shaun Parker. The session was immediately stopped after the incident. Initial reports mentioned suspected head injuries for Costello, while Parker suffered injuries to his chest, face, arms, and legs but remained conscious.

Costello, who competes in both solo and sidecar categories, is one of the most respected female figures in road racing and was awarded an MBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 2009.
