Greener Berwick We are part of the Friends of the Earth Local Action Groups Network. As a non-political group, our first concern is the climate emergency.

Friends of the Earth (England and Wales) have a climate action plan that has a strategy of lobbying government to greatly improve their zero carbon aspirations and actions.

This is the Repair Cafe in East Linton , East Lothian . Their Project Worker Rosie Harrison gave a talk in Berwick about her Repair Cafe that sowed the seed to us developing one here . She also advised us about setting up our Tool Library .

We know there's a few Berwickers attending- showing support for Save The Lammermuirs - Stop The Data Centre and the Duns community.

🪧❗ TOMORROW ❗🪧

11:30am, The Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh, EH99 1SP 💚

We will be attending the protest held by Global Justice Now tomorrow in Edinburgh. Will we see you there? 

This protest will bring together campaigners from 16 hyperscale data centre across Scotland, calling again for a moratorium on data centre development in Scotland 🙏

We have also invited our local MSP and MSPs to meet with us. So far we've got a yes from Laura Moodie and Carol Mochan 👏 Joe Fagan and Rachael Hamilton have said they hope to be there too 🤞

We would love to see you there! The rally starts at 11.30am, right in front of the Scottish Parliament building. Look out for our banner, placards and T-shirts 💪
