Darius is one of our newest volunteers and helps out at the BARK Pet Food Bank

Darius helps by collecting donations from various locations around Berwick and delivering them to the BARK Pet Food Bank. His reliability has already made a big difference.

We’re currently considering moving the Food Bank to the kennels this Autumn, and Darius will no doubt be a huge help when the time comes.

If you can help at our food bank a few hours a week organising and helping to distribute food from the Food Bank in Spittal, please give them a ring direct and have a chat.

Our BARK Pet Food Bank will be open an additional day this week - Monday 16th March 2026 from 10 - 12.

In the last year the BARK Pet Food Bank with support from Asda, Blue Cross UK, Direct Pets - Berwick Upon Tweed, Happy Dog UK, Morrisons,Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter, and Tesco along with you, our amazing supporters, have helped 500 families and provided over 40,000 meals.

While very sad it is necessary you have achieved the most amazing results. Thank you
