Berwick Rangers FA Wildcats and Squad Girls

We had amazing numbers at our Development, FA Wildcats & Squad Girls sessions tonight.
Over 60 children and young people had great fun and were delighted to receive an Easter Egg at the end of the night.
We are now on a 2 week break and will return on Thursday 23rd April.

Sadly due to a Met Office yellow weather we have to cancel tonight’s Development, FA Girls and Squad Girls football sessions.
We hope everyone stays safe and we look forward to seeing you all next Thursday.

We had an amazing turn out for our 3 football sessions last night with lots of new players joining us.
The rain managed to hold out until the FA Squad Girls hour but the they played through it all and ended the night with smiles on their faces.
The coaches got well and truly soaked though 😂

Our Berwick Rangers Juniors FA Wildcats coaches led the annual School Football Day for Girls today. 9 different local First Schools were in attendance. They were ably assisted by some of our Lionesses who supported the day through Tweedmouth Middle School. Around 90 girls got the chance to play the “Beautiful Game” in some rare Spring sunshine.

There has been a yellow weather warning issued for tomorrow evening.
I’m going to call our sessions off early to avoid any children/parents not getting the information and turning up.
Please pass this on.
We are off next week as it’s half-term but will return on Thursday 26th February as usual.

The weather was a real challenge tonight but we carried on regardless.
A group of very wet coaches led our fun sessions for our Development children and FA Wildcat girls who enjoyed every minute.

It may have been a cold 2c but we still had over 50 children and young people attending our 3 sessions tonight.
It’s great to see new faces turning up every week to enjoy the “beautiful game”

We want to encourage a pathway for all of our girls football development.
In addition to supporting our existing Berwick Rangers Juniors Lionesses U14s we will promote any local opportunities.

Eyemouth United are looking to recruit girls to their U12 and U14’s teams.
