Come along and join us on Saturday 16th May at Benson Parish Hall as we celebrate our amazing local community!

We’ll be there with a stall full of delicious homemade bakes, and plenty of friendly faces ready to welcome you.

Whether you’re curious about your daughter becoming part of Girlguiding, or interested in lending a hand as a volunteer, we’d love to have a chat and tell you more about what we do.

Sweet skills in action this Easter! 🐣✨ Our Girl Guides got creative in the kitchen, turning chocolate eggs into delicious cheesecake masterpieces. From mixing to decorating, every step was filled with teamwork, laughter, and a sprinkle of magic. 🍰💛

What a fantastic day for 2nd Benson RAF Guides as we headed to Twickenham to watch the women’s rugby! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏉

The girls had an amazing time soaking up the atmosphere, cheering from the stands, and seeing elite sport up close.

Trips like this are such a brilliant way to inspire confidence, teamwork, and show our Guides what strong, determined women can achieve on and off the pitch. Plenty of memories made (and lots of cheering voices on the way home too!).

Well done to all the Guides for representing us so brilliantly — and thank you to the leaders who made the trip possible! 💙

There’s nothing quite like the magic of a real campfire 🔥

Our Guides had the best time learning how to safely build and light their own fire – then putting it to good use cooking and toasting marshmallows (of course!).

From teamwork and problem-solving to building confidence and independence, activities like this are what guiding is all about.

Plenty of laughter, a few smoky clothes, and lots of proud smiles – memories made and skills for life ❤️

Benson Village Brownies and Guides had a fantastic trip to Clip ‘n’ Climb last week! 🧗‍♀️

The trip came from the Brownies’ ideas during Parliament Week back in November, when they voted as a group on activities they’d love to try. It was brilliant to see everyone getting stuck in and giving it a go.

The girls made it look so much fun that the leaders couldn’t resist joining in too! It wasn’t just the girls conquering fears and building confidence that day. 💪

Wow — what a fantastic meeting the 2nd Benson Rainbows had last week! 🌈🔬

The girls painted bacteria in beautiful colours, watched marshmallows grow huge and shrink again, and predicted what would happen to a balloon and shaving foam on the moon. They finished by looking at our bacteria under a UV light, where they glowed in amazing colours.

A huge thank you to Benji for sharing these brilliant experiments with us — the girls loved it!
