🙏 Thank You to Our Litter Heroes! 🙏

A huge thank you to the 130 amazing volunteers who joined our annual litter pick this year, a record turnout! Your time, energy, and community spirit helped make a real difference in keeping our town clean and beautiful. 🌿

Thanks also to the patient drivers who slowed down and waved, to Oz and Lucy at Comrades Club Wallingford for the soup and bread that kept our going, and to for supplying equipment and collecting all the waste.

Volunteering brings people together, builds friendships, and makes our community stronger. Every little bit helps, and we truly appreciate everyone who got involved.

Wallingford 1155 is proud to support our town through events like the Fireworks Display, Santa’s Sleigh, and our Litter Pick.

This year we’re joining hundreds of thousands of across the country to tackle litter head-on as part of the .

Did you know? The oldest piece of litter we’ve found so far was a can of Tizer from 1976! 🥤 That’s 50 years ago!

🚗🚕 If you see our out and about on Saturday (14/03) around Wallingford, Brightwell and Crowmarsh, please give them a cheery toot or wave!

This year we have a record 150 volunteers taking part. This huge community clear-up wouldn’t be possible without their support – THANK YOU to everyone involved. 🙏

Please keep volunteering at your local events and remember to support the local businesses that help make events like this possible in Wallingford.

🎅 That’s a wrap for Santa and his Sleigh this year! 🎅

A huge thank you to our main sponsor Masterfloors for the use of there Landrover (aka Rudolph) for the whole of December! 👏

Every year, our focus is to give children the chance to see Santa in his Sleigh, creating memories that last a lifetime. All the hard work is always worth it when we see the smiles on the faces of both children and adults, it truly is heart-warming for everyone involved.

Santa is getting ready for his busiest night of the year, and 1155 are enjoying a well-deserved rest. A huge thank you and Merry Christmas to all our 1155 supporters and volunteers, we truly couldn’t do it without you ❤️

He's planning to fly towards the Meadows and then down Papist Way, West End, Sandy Lane, Droveside, Crescent Way and Honey Lane. Apologies if we don't come down every road.
