💧NO HOSEPIPE BAN IN CASTLE POINT💧

Our members today have been asking whether the hosepipe ban affects us.

Anglian Water does not cover our area. We are covered by Essex & Suffolk water which does not have a hosepipe ban. They have, however, recommended being careful with our water usage.

Spring Show Sat 11th April
Our Spring Show will take place on Saturday 11th April at Richmond Hall.
Doors open at 2.30pm and entry is £1. Along with the daffodils on the benches, there will be a plant sale and refreshment stall.
Parking outside is free so please come along.

We’re hiring a Growing Together Project Worker to support our community garden projects!

If you love being outdoors, have a good knowledge of horticulture and experience of supporting adults with mental health needs then this could be the role for you.

The Postholder will be required to:

🌼 Provide day to day advice, direction, support and training for members of the Growing Together community garden project
🌼 Plan and lead hands-on horticultural activities for vulnerable adults, schools & youth groups
🌼 Help maintain and develop vibrant, sustainable community gardens
🌼 Support individuals with mental health needs through keyworking and wellbeing plans
🌼 Work with a supportive team to improve outcomes for project members and the wider community

📍 Multiple locations | 🕒 Part-time hours available (incl. some evenings/weekends)
💷 £25,213.50 pro rata
