FUNDRAISING FOR THE FUTURE

Join our team...We are hiring!

📣 We have a vacancy for a part-time Community & Events Fundraiser

Part time - based at Toby House - hours and remuneration to be agreed

Due to continued expansion, we are delighted to announce this newly created opportunity which will play a key role in contributing to future proofing development at The Toby Henderson Trust in terms of both revenue and profile.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have a significant impact in connecting people to purpose in our community and events fundraising, through their creativity, collaboration and care, making a real contribution to continued growth across our wonderful organisation.

We appreciate that many who have chosen to support us so far have felt compelled to do so because our cause has touched them in some way. Offering and expressing our gratitude to those supporters (both old and new) will also play a major part in this role. We believe that building a deep connection is paramount.

Duties will include:

Taking the lead on organizing our annual Spectrum Charity Ball (supported by Team Toby colleagues)

Taking the lead on our Great North Run entries (including entries in the Mini and Junior GNR)

Devising and managing new fundraising events and community initiatives

Developing connections and partnerships within the business community across the region

Exploring new sponsorship opportunities

Being at the forefront of combining fundraising tradition with the impact of today’s social media and technology

We’re a people-focused charity, built on the ethos of providing understanding, empathy and guidance. We extend this same ethos to our work colleagues and we look to employ people who embody these skills and behaviours and model them for other colleagues. We encourage empathy, strong communication, teamwork and adaptability in everything we do.
