☕Macmillan Coffee Morning!☕

A huge thank you to Sally for organising our Macmillan Coffee Morning and bringing everyone together for such a fantastic cause. 💚

We'd also like to thank everyone who donated raffle prizes, contributed delicious cakes and treats to the bake sale, and everyone who attended and showed their support.

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing team, customers, and care workers, we are delighted to share that we raised an incredible £450 for Macmillan Cancer Support! 🎉

🎊Meet Sarah - Our New Field Care Supervisor🎊

We're delighted to welcome Sarah, one of our dedicated Care Workers, to the office team!

"Hi I'm Sarah, and I began my journey with Home Support Matters as a Care Worker. Since then, I have progressed into the role of Field Care Supervisor, which has allowed me to further develop my skills and passion for delivering high-quality care.

I have experience across a wide range of care settings, including care homes, agency work, domiciliary and working within the emergency department. These roles have given me valuable insight and knowledge into many aspects of the care sector and helped shape my person-centred approach to supporting both our clients and care teams.

I am really enjoying my new role as Field Care Supervisor. Being involved with our clients is something that is really important to me, being able to advocate for them and ensure they get the help and support they deserve. I am lucky to still be a part of this in my new role.

I look forward to continuing to support our clients and carers and also working alongside such a dedicated team."

🤩Meet Lavinia - Our New Care Coordinator 🤩

We're delighted to welcome Lavinia to the team!

"Hi, I’m Lavinia and I’ve recently joined Home Support Matters as a Care Coordinator at the Beccles office. I have a strong background in healthcare, with 11 years of experience working as a Medical Registrar at the Emergency Department reception in a hospital in Romania.

After moving to the UK, I continued my career in care and now have 14 years of experience in the care sector, progressing from carer to senior carer, assistant manager and, most recently, cover manager.

I’ve always enjoyed working with people, supporting others and being part of a team. I’m really enjoying my new role and getting to know the team and the community care setting. I’m looking forward to learning new skills, developing further in my role and using my experience to make a positive difference to the people we support. ❤"

🎯Behind the Scenes: HSM Staff Hobbies: 🎯

Meet one of our dedicated Care Workers, Joanne, who has been supporting people in the Norwich area with HSM since 2007. When she's not delivering outstanding care, you'll find her at the dartboard!

For the past 30 years, she has played ladies darts in the Loddon & District League, representing her home team. Playing every week, her team has enjoyed plenty of success over the years, winning the league and collecting numerous trophies over the years🏆

For Joanne, darts is also a chance to catch up with friends, enjoy a drink, and have fun. And even while on holiday in Cyprus, she couldn't resist finding a dartboard in her hotel! 🎯☀️

We're proud to have such a hardworking and committed member of the HSM team, both on and off the oche!🌟
