Welcome to Beccles Platoon's official page. The ACF is one of the UK's oldest and most successful youth organisations. We have a proud history of preparing youngsters for all walks of life and encouraging an active involvement in local communities. At Beccles Platoon we take part in various activities which you would not do anywhere else. They include military subjects such as field craft

, drill and shooting and adventure training activities as canoeing, rock climbing, sailing, motor biking and abseiling. They are all taken by fully qualified instructors and a good time is had by all. On a yearly basis cadets also get a chance to visit areas of the country they haven’t seen before for a two week annual camp. In the last few years camps have been held in Staffordshire, Scotland, Wales and even Germany.
