🎬 Something creative is happening in Thetford…

Our FREE Young Filmmakers workshops are back at the Charles Burrell Centre for ages 8–16.

Across 8 sessions, young people will get stuck into filmmaking using professional kit - creating trailers, music videos and more in a fun, supportive environment. No experience needed and no pressure to be on camera either - there are plenty of behind-the-scenes roles to explore too.

A great chance to build confidence, make friends and try something different.

📍 Charles Burrell Centre, Thetford
📅 Starting 30 May
🎟️ Free places available

A huge congratulations to Amelia Stephanides and Jamie Sacco on the incredible premiere of Episodes 1 & 2 of The Bowl at the Norwich Arts Centre last night. What a brilliant achievement - and what a packed house to celebrate it with.

Through Soup Creations, Amelia and Jamie have built something genuinely exciting for Norwich’s creative community. Their passion for championing local artists, creating opportunities and backing original ideas shines through in everything they do, and seeing that vision come to life on the big screen was really special.

As facilitators for The Offshoot Foundation, we’re especially proud to see their creative journey continue to grow. They bring so much energy, encouragement and experience into our workshops, inspiring young people to be creative, take risks and believe that making work of their own is possible.

The Bowl was funny, bold, chaotic in the best way and full of personality — exactly the kind of creativity that deserves to be celebrated.

Congratulations again Amelia, Jamie and the whole Soup Creations team. Norwich needs more nights like this.

We’re part of the Tesco Community Grant Programme in Sudbury.

From 29 April until the end of July, you can vote for The Offshoot Foundation in-store. Your vote will help us secure funding to upgrade our camera equipment and continue delivering filmmaking workshops for young people aged 10–18 in the local community.

These workshops give young people the chance to build confidence, learn practical skills and tell their own stories through film.

If you’re shopping in Sudbury, we’d really appreciate your support.

Every vote makes a difference.

The films will be shown at the Norfolk Deaf Festival which takes place on 26th and 27th June at The Forum, Norwich.
