On Friday we heard the sad news that Melvyn Courtney had passed away. Melvyn was an amazing, inspirational youth worker and personal friend who supported me when I started out in youth work in the 1980’s and helped make me the youth worker I am today. His enthusiasm, humour, understanding and care was second to none and he was missed when he finally called it a day to spend more time at home. Many young people and youth workers will remember him and will have benefitted from knowing him. Sending love to all his family.

Thank you so much to Yvonne for organising the Table Top sale today at Beaminster Town Hall which raised an amazing total of £301.12 for the Prout Bridge Project.
