We are so pleased to welcome Tiani as a new volunteer at our Dementia Day Club in Battle. It is always special to see young people choosing to give their time to support others, and T has already brought warmth, kindness, enthusiasm and ideas to the Club.

Choosing to volunteer - especially at a young age - not only makes a real difference to others, but also helps build understanding, confidence, and community spirit.

Thank you, T, for being part of our team - we are delighted to have you with us 🫶

Massive congratulations and thanks to our recent Star Employees! Diana at our Stay Connected Club in Battle was amazing when she put her knowledge and training into effect at an unannounced Food Hygiene inspection ... we retained our 5 star Rating! (That made our Group Trainer very happy!).
Marie from our Spring Care PAs homecare team was awarded "for managing a really difficult situation extremely well", making positive breakthroughs with her service users where no other homecare provider has managed to.
Great work both of you 🫶👏

🌷Colourful inspiration for the Tree Drawing Challenge ... we love how everyone has chosen a different picture to copy or colour or decorate.
Did you know that certain colours can support wellbeing in people living with dementia: Blue and pink may promote calmness, green can aid relaxation and visibility, while red may stimulate attention and appetite. 🫶

We spent a great afternoon at Hazel Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare in Battle yesterday (thank you for hosting!), meeting with community and other providers to promote Dementia Action Week.
If you'd like to get involved and help to raise awareness and show solidarity with everyone affected by dementia one simple way is to wear a Forget Me Not badge – a small symbol with a big message.... that we will not forget those living with dementia or the families who support them.
Use the link below or visit the Alzheimer's Society online shop to get your badge (only £3!)
