What a busy but heartwarming 10 days it’s been… fuelled by kindness, community spirit, and perhaps at times just a little too much sunshine!☀️
Around all of our usual busy school support sessions we also enjoyed a wonderful day at the Crowhurst Summer Fete, a joyful ukulele sing-along evening in Catsfield with an incredible group whose generosity continues to raise valuable funds for us, checking out delicious recipes in the fabulous cake book created by the lovely community in Whatlington to sell in support of our work, and a special morning of kite making at one of the local primary schools, bringing together children we’ve had the privilege of supporting over the last year.
We’ve also been incredibly touched by generous donations from local schools. We have the privilege of supporting many local school communities, helping children, young people and also staff navigate the challenges of bereavement and family illness and it means a huge amount that despite the hard times these communities face they are able to find the kindness and generosity to support our work.
To everyone who has donated, fundraised, volunteered or welcomed us into your communities - thank you. We value your kindness, we never take it for granted, and nothing goes unnoticed. Together, you’re helping us make a difference when it’s needed most and it’s been a humbling reminder of the kindness that surrounds us all 💛
