Rotary Barnard Castle had the pleasure of assisting with parking arrangements at St. Romald's Church, Romaldkirk last Thursday evening, for the Service of Licencing by the Bishop of Ripon, The Right Reverend Anna Eltringham of the Revd John McHale, who became the Interim Priest in Charge of the Lower Teesdale Benefice.

Our April speaker meeting was from our very own Ross Law! A wonderful talk this evening from our very own Ivor on "How to help yourself." Ivor spoke about reflections on the self help book market and the rise of the genre in recent years. Tonight Michael handed over the presidency of Barnard Castle Rotary club to Glenys; congratulations Glenys and thank you so much to Michael for the last 6 months. We also received our banner from the Rotary Club of Durbanville, South Africa, who we recently made contact with through work colleagues. Thank you so much for the banner and it's always so lovely to make new Rotary connections.
