9th Bangor (St Gall’s) Scout Group provides an exciting, adventurous, fun and challenging programme from 4-14 years old through Squirrels / Beavers / Cubs / Scouts across North Down - including hikes, days out, camps and residential experiences! Squirrel Drey (age 4 - 6) - Wednesday 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Beaver Colony (age 6 - 8) - Wednesday 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Cub Pack (age 8 - 10 1/2) - Friday 6:15pm - 7:30pm
Scout Troop (age 10 1/2 - 14) - Friday 7:30pm - 9:00pm

Scout Group

A huge, massively big ‘Thank you’ to all the Leaders and members of the Group Trustee Board who have worked tirelessly in the background organising weekly programmes / night out of the hall / camps / plus the odd surprise!

There is always lots of stuff happening in the sections whether it in the hall or out of the hall!

We want all our Young People and Adults to have fun, take part in the adventure and enjoy the challenge!

Scout Troop!

Well done to the Scouts who took part in last nights ‘Invisible Disability Week’ event 👏

We started off the night with the Scouts being spilt into small groups and doing an ‘accessibility check’ of the church and community. Looking for features like ramps, automatic doors, accessible parking etc. They had to think about how structure of the building may affect how others can use the site ⛪

Next the Scouts took part in a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower challenge to match up different hidden disability icons and their meanings. They learned about the role of the sunflower lanyard and RADAR keys 🌻

We finished the night off with a game of Boccia, a Paralympic sport designed to allow people of all abilities to take part. Everyone played well and there was some close games 🏐

Cub Scouts!

The ghouls, the vampires, the Minions and Gru were all at the Pack this evening!

The Halloween Party had everything from Musical Chairs, Musical Statues and Pin the Witches Hat!

The Cubs made Ghosts for the front window before some party food!

Some of the Costumes were absolutely brilliant!
