It has only taken me just over three years but finally I have worked out how to add a donate button to our page.

They didn't teach this stuff back in the High School in the 90's so this is a major personal achievement for me.

No Community Lunch or knitting this week coming.

Both return on Wednesday 1st July with knitting at 12 and lunch for 1pm.

We can't promise two weeks all-inclusive in Portugal as nice as that would be but we can offer some simple opportunities for community connection over Summer.

▶️ Knitting will run on Wednesday 1st/8th/29th July & Wednesday 5th August and all will start at 12.

▶️ Community Lunch will run on Wednesday 1st/8th/29th July & Wednesday 5th August and all will start at 1pm.

▶️ Bubble Club for carers and wee ones aged 0-3 will run on Monday 6th/27th July. & 3rd/10th August and will start at 9.30am.

We would be delighted to see you at any of these events.

On behalf of the trustees, staff and wider family of J29 Project we offer deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of the late Stephanie Maginnes.

Stephanie was a regular attender at our Community Lunch and Living Room on a Wednesday afternoon and we will miss her kind and gentle nature in the building.

Stephanie loved a chat and was always keen to extend a hand to visitors. We have many fond memories spent with Stephanie and we are grateful for the time we had enjoyed together.

As parents of four children and having endured many extremely long Summers we can empathise with carers of wee ones looking ahead to the next couple of months.

With a view to this we are going to run Bubble Club over a few sessions during the Summer season.

The sessions will all be Mondays and start at the normal time of 9.30am.

The dates are attached and we would just ask the age bracket of 0-3 years please be respected out of courtesy to our team and to avoid any awkwardness.

A wonderful day of community engagement and fun today.

A busy knitting group followed by Community Lunch with some great chat and memories made.
