We had a lovely PW Service on Sunday, our guest speaker the Rev. Karen Campbell’s address was very thoughtful provoking and interesting on the life of Jacob. Thanks also to all the ladies who took part to make it a special service.

We had a lovely evening with two ladies representing Molton Brown. We really enjoyed the exploration of how scents were made, how they should be worn and difference fragrances between l’eau de cologne and perfume. We all received travel size samples of their most popular products. The evening was very relaxed and the air buzzed with conversations. A super night for all.

🙏We would love you to join with us this week as we focus our thoughts and prayers on our Deaconesses, who work in various roles within PCI congregations, special projects, hospitals and prisons.

Please pray that each deaconess would know God's ever present help in their personal lives and in the different roles they play across the church.
Pray for wisdom as they meet with people who are experiencing all kinds of life changing situations and issues. 💟.

Please continue to pray for the new student deaconesses Olivia Smyth and Sonya Boal as they settle into their placements and to studies at Union College.

MUSICAL EVENING on Saturday 4th October at 7.30pm in Bannside Presbyterian Church
Everyone, friends and family are invited to a Musical Evening on Saturday 4th October @ 7.30pm in Bannside Presbyterian church. Guests include The Lindsay Chorale, a choir whose origins hail from 1st Saintfield Presbyterian Church and who have gone on to sing all over Ireland and the UK including BBC television;
Internationally acclaimed duo, Jonathan & Iryna Johnston (flautist & pianist), Jonathan, a former NI Young Musician of the Year and Iryna, a Ukrainian who is a graduate from the Prokofiev Music Academy;
and Paddy Knaggs, soloist who grew up in Comber, into a house where the family were greatly involved in music both at school and church, he has a music degree from Glasgow University and is currently a member of Belfast Community Gospel Choir with whom he has performed solos.

There will be a mix of sacred, classical, popular, traditional, folk and musicals so something for everyone! Suggested donation of £10 for PW Projects.
