We now have almost 70 runners signed up for the Baldock 5K Rat Run and rumour has it, the Rat himself signed up todayโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜‚

Thereโ€™s a little 'get your own back' for the Rat this year, but I think that deserves a post of its own!

If youโ€™ve been thinking about joining us, now is the time. Run it, walk it or do a bit of both, it really doesnโ€™t matter.

This is about bringing our community together and raising as much as possible for Garden House Hospice Care. ๐Ÿ’™

We were genuinely disappointed to learn that under-13s canโ€™t take part in the 5K itself this year.

The Baldock Rat Run has always been about families joining in together, and in previous years weโ€™ve had whole families taking part, which is exactly why the ๐…๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐“๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ก๐ฒ means so much to us.

Soโ€ฆ weโ€™ve changed things up for 2026. ๐Ÿ˜

Weโ€™re looking for brilliant volunteers to help make this yearโ€™s Rat Run a safe, fun and fantastic morning for everyone! ๐Ÿ’š

There are plenty of ways to get involved, including setting up, welcoming runners, helping around the event site, marshalling the course and packing away afterwards. No previous experience is needed, just a friendly face and a willingness to help!
