👋 DSPL2 Stevenage families - we'll be at the SEND drop in session happening at Moss Bury School next week - 17th March 10-12 - along with lots of other groups and services.

Dear Parents and Carers,

We’re really looking forward to welcoming the children to our Complex Needs Club this February Half Term. We have planned a range of engaging, sensory-friendly and supportive activities, carefully designed to meet individual needs while ensuring lots of fun and enjoyment.

Here’s what we’ll be getting up to:

Monday 16th February
• Rainbow bubbles
• Tac Pac sensory sessions

A calming and stimulating day focusing on sensory exploration, lights, sounds and interactive experiences tailored to each child.

Tuesday 17th February
• Disney music dance / walk sessions
• Story time

A gentle and enjoyable day with familiar music, movement at each child’s own pace, and relaxed, engaging story sessions.

Wednesday 18th February
• Parachute games
• Bucket Attention (Attention Autism style activities)

Structured, interactive group sessions designed to build engagement, anticipation and shared enjoyment in a supportive environment.

Alongside our themed activities, we will continue to offer our regular daily activities, including:
Bouncy castle (in the main school), outdoor play equipment on the field, TV time, cars, texture play, sensory lights and quiet time, massage, free time, bed/floor time and adventure walks.

As always, activities will be adapted to suit each child’s individual needs and preferences, with plenty of opportunities for rest and regulation throughout the day.

We’re excited for a fun, supportive and engaging half term together.

Dear Parents and Carers,

We’re excited to share our plans for February Half Term at Breakaway! We have a fun-filled few days planned with creative activities, active games and plenty of opportunities for the children to explore, play and enjoy time with their friends.

Here’s what we’ll be getting up to:

Monday 16th February
• Junk modelling
• Finger painting

A creative day where children can design, build and get messy with lots of imaginative art activities.

Tuesday 17th February
• Valentine hearts crafts
• Sports circuit

A lovely mix of themed crafts and energetic physical activities to keep everyone moving and smiling.

Wednesday 18th February
• Parachute games
• Rainbow bubbles

A fun and colourful day full of teamwork games and outdoor bubble fun.

Alongside our themed activities, we’ll also be enjoying our daily favourites including:
Bouncy castle, dress up, trampolines, bikes & scooters, TV chill time, music party time, colouring in, crafts, cars, bricks and much more.

We’re really looking forward to a fantastic half term!
