Lots of fun and laughter at Providence Court this weekend!! 🥰
Listening to classics from popular artists, such as Chubby Checker and Frank Sinatra, we took the time to try out various games.
These were to boost our self-esteem, coordination skills and to provide resident's with stimulating activities.

A lot of fun and laughter today!!⚽🏋️‍♀️🎳
We played various games that exercised our arm, shoulder and leg muscles. For example, we played football, catch, bowling, circus tent parachute games, and a bit of horse racing!!
It was also a good way to create a social, friendly and happy environment😁

On Tuesday we had a relaxing morning singing a variety of tunes from our Musical Lyric Book. 🎶🎵
It was a great opportunity to reminisce about nostalgic favourites and chat together about our favourites.

Afterwards, we played a few games to exercise our muscles, boost our self-esteem and maintain our hand-eye coordination. It was a lot of fun!!

On Thursday evening we had the privilege of hearing Chris Beahan (aka The Pianoman) play a bundle of funky tunes for us. It was a nice opportunity to get together, chat, enjoy refreshing beverages and dance the night away.

Did some stretches and other armchair yoga exercises with the wonderful BrioneYoga!! These are good for relaxing the muscles and strengthening the joints.

At the end of the session, we had a calming moment to meditate, imagining relaxing on the beach in the sunshine whilst we had a small shoulder massage with lavender oils💜

We also challenged ourselves with some "Horse Racing" Games!!
With a 'ready, set, GO' resident's pulled their horse along the ground; aiming to be the fastest🐴🏁

We also enjoyed darts with mini aeroplane gliders, and also a hearty game of catch!!

We're now looking forward to the Pub Night tonight!! 🥰

Happy World Photography Day!!! 📸🎞🖼
Today we worked together to create a small nostalgic digital scrapbook.
Resident's requested favourite photos, clipart or designs.
For instance, some requested photos of Letchworth's swimming pool, the countryside, Fred Astaire, Gone with the Wind, and the Wimbledon.

We then finished our day with a group game of "catch", and a tried winning prizes with a game of "Hook A Duck". 🥎🦆🎯

Today we were winning wonderful prizes at 'Hook-A-Duck', playing a spot of 'Snakes & Ladders', and testing our hand-eye coordination skills with a fun game of catch. 🎲⚽

Also, were were overjoyed to have a visit from Lauren's puppy, Oakley!! He loved the fuss and attention!! Little Oakley put a smile on all our faces 🐶🐾
