Diapalante UK Diapalante is a UK-based charity which supports grassroots community initiatives in Mauritania and Senegal. Our partnerships start by listening and observing.

Diapalante (registered charity 1112875) supports small self help initiatives in Mauritania and Senegal. These projects range from initiatives aimed at improving the sustainability of the rural lifestyle to urban community projects such as our community education centre in Kaolack, Senegal. Diapalante means mutual assistance, partnership or solidarity and is a name we endeavour to live up to. Every

one has dreams and ideas for improving their lives or the lives of others, and many of these dreams could become a reality with the right support and expertise. From these dreams we have chosen to support several small projects, where the aid we are able to offer will hopefully have a lasting beneficial impact on the local community, and where our local volunteers are able to evaluate the projects and their outcomes.
