“What happens next?” is one of the questions we hear most often from families affected by dementia. 🤔

There’s no instruction manual for dementia – but you don’t need to be an expert to be there for someone who’s living with the condition.

Yesterday, Tuesday 1st September, started the month off with our seated games.
Great fun and 9 members took part in a balloon 🎈 game and boccia games.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get photos, I was too busy keeping the balloon 🎈 afloat!! Lol. 😅🥳

Afterwards, 8 of us went to the YMCA for a coffee ☕️ and a natter.

Nice time spent with good friends. 👍🏻❤️

Our AGM was held yesterday.

All members wish to thank Ken for his service to the group as Chairman for 12 years. Also, Christine for her secretary role and Michael for being our treasurer.

Congratulations to Elaine Ellison for her new role as Chairperson, Ann Oswald as Vice chair, Heather Cullen as Secretary and Neil Kirton as Treasurer, supported by Sarah-Jane Ayers, Ian Blades, Carol Lee and Ken as further trustees.

We hope that the group will go from strength to strength helping and supporting carers and those living with dementia, for many more years to come.
