We're thrilled to share some exciting news ahead of this year's Moonlit Walk - Genco UK Group Construction Services has signed up as our official match funding partner!

As match funder, Genco will match pound for pound every donation made - up to the first £15,000 raised. That's an incredible commitment, and one that could make a real difference as we push towards our £75,000 target.

For almost a decade, Genco has been one of our most dedicated corporate supporters, raising more than £46,000 through everything from six-a-side football tournaments and charity golf days to European cycle challenges and karting events. Their teams have always brought real enthusiasm and heart to everything they do for us.

They've gone above and beyond financially, too - providing scaffolding and drainage work at the hospice itself, improvements that have directly benefited patients and families in our care.

Thank you again to Genco!

It's , a chance to talk openly about loneliness and the difference connection can make.

That's exactly what we've seen with Margaret and Tina, who were matched through our Compassionate Neighbours scheme. What started as a weekly visit has turned into a proper friendship - knitting, cups of tea and lots of laughs along the way☕️

"You make a friend," Margaret says. "There are so many people who don't see anyone, you just want to be lifted."

For three hours, once a month, you could shape how a family remembers one of the hardest periods of their lives.

We're recruiting a Family Session Volunteer for our monthly Saturday sessions (last Saturday, 9.30am-12.30pm) here at Heart of Kent Hospice.

While you're setting up activities, welcoming a family through the door, or sitting with a child while they play, you're giving that family something they desperately need: a few hours where there's laughter, where things feel ordinary for a moment, and where they get to just be a family.

A small amount of your time has a knock-on effect that lasts far longer than the morning itself!

Full training given, no experience necessary, just kindness and reliability.

Not able to volunteer? Please share this post, it might reach exactly the right person🙏

Welcome to the team at CDS Rose, new supporters of Heart of Kent Hospice!

We'd like to thank CDS Rose very much for their generous offer to provide our water compliance service contract at no cost for 2026/27.

Samantha Carter Communications & Operations Director: "CDS Rose Limited has gifted its water compliance services to Heart of Kent Hospice in support of the vital community organisation, helping ensure safe and hygienic water systems while allowing the hospice to focus its limited resources on patient care."

"This is an example of a wonderful way for businesses to support the charity by providing their skill set and we have many more businesses who are in the process of doing the same. I am thrilled we continue to find the business community so open to supporting us." - David Dadswell, Corporate Partnerships Manager

If your business has skills or services you'd like to offer in a similar way, we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch with our Corporate Partnerships Manager, David Dadswell, to find out more.

Hospices provide care to adults who have a terminal illness, helping people to live as fully and as well as possible for the rest of their lives, however long that may be and no matter the illness.

All of our healthcare professionals, colleagues, and volunteers are here to help you maintain your health and wellbeing to live as comfortably and independently as possible, for as long as you are able. Every single patient is different, and their needs and concerns are individual to them.

Father’s Day is a time to celebrate love, but for many, it’s also a day of remembrance and reflection.

This Father’s Day, you can celebrate someone close to your heart in a very special way on our Celebration Tree. By making a donation of your choice, we will dedicate a handmade, colourful heart throughout the month of June.

By making a gift in honour of your Dad, Grandad, Uncle, Brother or someone special, you’ll provide warmth and comfort to families experiencing the loss of their loved one.
