Would anyone have found a black Liverpool Wallet over the weekend in Armagh. Most likely in or around Armagh Royal British Legion / car park.

Please drop us a message or contact Josie in the club if so. Thank you in advance.

🎖️20 Years of Service 🎖️
It was a great pleasure for our President, David Hammerton, to present George Cunningham with a Certificate and Pin Badge in recognition of 20 years' service collecting for the Poppy Appeal.
Twenty years of standing out in all weathers, and spreading the message of remembrance. Dedication like George's is what keeps the Poppy Appeal going, and it makes a real difference to those who have served and their families.
Thank you, George, for your outstanding contribution over the years. We're proud to have you with us.

Last night, Armagh Royal British Legion held a Festival of Remembrance at the Market Place Theatre, and what a night it was! 🌺

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. Your presence made it a real success, and all money raised will go to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Events like this don't just happen. Special thanks go to our President David Hammerton, along with Stanley Burrows, Brian Todd and Albert Nicholl for all their hard work and dedication behind the scenes. To Mervyn Walker, our compere for the evening, who was fantastic.

We're also deeply grateful to all the performers, bands and readers who gave so generously of their time and talent, and to The Very Rev Dean Robert Townley for leading us in our act of remembrance and Prayer.

Thank you all. We will remember them. 🇬🇧

Last night, Armagh Royal British Legion held its Annual General Meeting and officially launched this year's Poppy Appeal.

Vice Chairman Mark Warnock chaired the meeting, and President David Hammerton gave a presentation and address on how the Poppy Appeal supports veterans across Northern Ireland every year.

We were delighted to be joined by Cllr Scott Armstrong and Cllr Gordon Kennedy, who supported our launch.

This year, Comrade Eric Rolston was presented with a certificate for 20 years of service to poppy collecting. Congratulations, Eric, and thank you! We were also grateful to have Muriel Rolston with us, who has collected for the Poppy Appeal for an incredible 38 years. Thank you, Muriel! 👏

Thank you to everyone who attended and to all our volunteers whose dedication makes the appeal possible. Please give generously when you see our collectors out and about.
