Last week our members first upcycling project was completed.

We were donated an antique solid wooden table that was in need of some TLC, David, Celli, Elizabeth & Simon have been working on the table over the last few weeks.

Its beautiful !!!

We are now on the lookout for another small piece to upcycle x

Today was such a Hive of activity.

We started off trying to list the 48 countries that are in this years World Cup - not easy. We drew flags for each country & coloured them in - In the afternoon we made the draw, entering every member, volunteer, trustee , staff member & our 4 friends who have been visiting us from Ladybird Playgroup - so we ll surprise the kids next week when we show them. Our members have decided that a great prize for the winner would be a voucher for Webmors, so we ll get that sorted.

Our friends from Ladybird Playgroup visited us this morning & played quite a few games of dominoes & thankfully they asked to water the indoor plants ( we always forget ). 🪴🪴🪴

Our members also baked banana loaves, as we have some special visitors tomorrow - Friends & Family, and some members worked on finishing a previous art project .

Operation Groundforce

- pots moved
- everything swept
- weeds removed from between slabs
- pots watered ( we need rain - please )
- bird bath scrubbed
- grass edged
- weeding
- checked on our seedlings

& that was just the morning ###

Absolute TEAMWORK

Then a few of us went shopping for more plants - to keep the community space looking good & welcoming for all, especially the bees & the butterflies
