Renovations update👷

Plasterboard walls almost complete! Not long till we have working loos…..

Today our walking group met at Arbirlot Old Kirk and walked to for a drink & cake! Our two youngest members thoroughly enjoyed getting to have a run around whilst the grown ups chatted☀️

Our walking group still meet for a weekly walk and currently visit local businesses for their refreshments because the old Kirk is currently under renovation☕️🍰

Arbroath's Christmas Tractor Run - Drone Footage Part 1

Thank you to Dave at Amarone Wedding Films for capturing aspects of the event for us.

Donations have still been coming in via our online link so we haven’t posted a final figure for the tractor run and if you meant to pop on and support the event the link below is still live!

In case we have missed anyone out we just wanted to do one last shout out to all the people who made the event possible and such a success, in no particular order:

-The Resilience Dept of Angus Council for pointing us in the right direction.
-Roasty Toasty for staying open to provide tasty snacks on a dreich evening.
-All the tractor entrants, many whom spent hours in cold sheds tickled up in Christmas lights.
-Local businesses, Netherton Tractors and R.M. Welch & Son for their support.
-Brunton Farms for hosting the tractors prior to setting off.
-Garry Johnston, Simpsons Malt for taking time out to judge the tractors.
-Santas helper - Frank Norrie for comparing the run throughout with festive cheer.
-The collectors and traffic stewards for bringing the whole thing together on the night.

And of course everyone who took time out to come along and see the event – you were all fantastic🚜🎄

Arbroath’s 1st Christmas Tractor Run also saw a little bit of competition between all our Tractor Run participants for best decorated tractor! 🚜 🎄

Judge Gary Johnston definitely had the hardest job on the day, trying to pick a top 3 out of 70 fantastic vehicles.

Results were as follows:
1st - Stewart Burnett
2nd - Kevin Brown
3rd - Alan Sim

Thank you to all tractors for putting so much effort into your decorating - I think we can all agree that all of them looked fantastic!

What a night……

Thank you to every single person who lined the streets, came to Victoria Park and cheered our wonderful tractors & their drivers on🚜🎄

We are overwhelmed by the response we have received.

We are delighted that Roasty Toasty will be open late for all attending the Tractor Run🚜🎅🏻
