Parc Natur Penglais Local Nature Reserve on the North side of Aberystwyth. Gwarchodfa Natur Leol ar ochr ogleddol Aberystwyth

Parc Natur Penglais Support Group - whose members run this page - was set up when the Parc was established in 1991 to advise and assist the owners Ceredigion County Council with the management of the reserve, through a mutually-agreed Management Plan that is revised every 5 years. The Council Conservation Officer is a member of the PNP Support Group Committee, together with 12 local residents and

two Councillors. The Parc was given formal status as a Local Nature Reserve in 1995 and was later designated as a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Urban Nature Reserve, the first in Wales. The PNP Support Group was given a Prince of Wales Award in 1993.

Some of the rubbish and abandoned tents recently removed from the Parc by council staff and volunteers.

Camping is prohibited in the Parc. Rough sleepers can be reported via Streetlink below:
