Did you know it's hedgehog awareness week this week. The RHS has some good tips for hedgehog friendly gardening https://www.rhs.org.uk/wildlife/hedgehog-friendly-gardening.

There will be an Abbot's Langley showing of the People's Emergency Briefing film, organised by https://www.heartcommunitygroup.org/

Following the 45-minute film, we will facilitate a structured local discussion on what this means for our community.
We would be very pleased if you were able to attend. These events are designed as community discussions.

There are more than 1500 of these film screenings which have already happened throughout the UK, or are planned over the next couple of months. The film features footage from last November’s National Emergency Briefing which brought together leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature.

It presents a clear, measured overview of how the climate and nature crisis is affecting everyday life in Britain - and what the evidence says about risks and responses.
The initiative is explicitly non-partisan, and has support from a wide range of organisations including National Trust, Church of England, Exeter University, the Royal Meteorological Society, WWF, National Education Union, and many more.

THE LOCAL PRODUCE MARKET IS BEING HELD ON SATURDAY MORNING 20 DECEMBER IN THE ALL SAINTS CHURCH & HALL, Church Lane, Kings Langley, WD4 8JS. The market will be open from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. Stallholders will be there with their produce. Looking forward to seeing you there.
