📣 GUCE is looking for a new Chair and Treasurer

We’re seeking two people to join GUCE and help guide the next stage of our work supporting community energy and sustainability.

We’d love to hear from people who can bring experience in:

👥 Chair: Leadership, governance and strategic direction
👥Treasurer: Financial oversight, budgeting and good financial governance

These are voluntary roles and an opportunity to use your skills to support a community-focused organisation making a positive local difference.

Our community market is on till 5pm. Come and buy some lovely Irish barmbrack, chutney, cute crochet, and jewellery. Have a go on the Tombola and make a bookmark with the library team. We also have refreshments.

Come along to our Community Market this Saturday 2-5pm in Abbots Langley community centre and you could
- buy baked goods
- buy some chutneys to go with them
- talk to the Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust
- buy cute summer holiday gifts and toys
- find out about e-books and audio books at the Abbots Langley Library
and stay for a chat and refreshments

Any children or young people who are bakers, makers or creators and would like a small stall at our community market on Saturday 25 July, 2-5pm ?

Stalls with second-hand toys or books would also be great.

These small stalls are exclusively for children and young people and are just £3.

Thanks to everyone who came to plant a herb spiral on School Mead this morning. It was a lovely atmosphere. Feel free to water it if you live nearby. Thanks to Sunnyside Rural Trust for the plants, design and people-power and to Watford Community Housing Trust for a grant for plants.
